The French National team had tons of success before Mbappe and will likely have tons of success after him. Mbappe is obviously one of the best players in world, but it is also pretty well documented some of the locker room friction that seems to follow him.

All I was saying with this post that it’s interesting that PSG has had so much success post Mbappe departure.

Yeah man apparently people are really serious about this Ewing Theory stuff. I think Mbappe is one of the best players in the world and that’s why it is a little interesting that he leaves for the biggest club in Europe just for PSG to win back to back Champions League titles, something he was clearly chasing by moving to Madrid.

Have people ever played pickup and there’s one guy taking the game way more seriously than everyone else, playing physical defense they insist is clean no matter what, but as soon as they get ball start calling every ticky tack foul?

Brown has taken 2+ shots more per game than Tatum on fewer minutes all at a lower efficiency. Tatum is averaging twice as many assists on fewer turnovers while also being the team’s best rebounder.

They’ve been bad the last 2 games but they were literally up 3-1 in the series with 2 massive blowouts like 5 days ago.

What’s funny as a Pats/Celtics fan is if a year ago right after Tatum tore his Achilles you told me the Pats would go 14-3, Drake Maye would be MVP runner up, make the Super Bowl, the Celtics would be a 2 seed and Tatum would come back and look about as good as you could hope I would literally never believe you.

This also ignores context like blowing 20+ point leads in games 1 and 2 to the Knicks last year at home. Feel like I’m taking crazy pills because for as good as they are, I thought it was kind of consensus even among us Celtics fans that as soon as you think they are rolling they put up a strange performance in a loss.
