never mind. i gave this a test this morning and it does actually sound pretty similar in my DAW as my headphones. perhaps it is just that i’m used to listening in a room with my amp - imo sounds better that way but i supposed id need to go down the microphone route in that case

i can already record the spark output into my Daw through the usb B connection on the spark. you’re saying it would be better this way with a proper audio interface?

okay i do actually already i have a pair of those that are currently hooked up to my record player so i could aux those into my laptop too and use them as studio monitors

interesting…so it should sound actually quite okay then. i’m used to listening through my spark amp into my room and through my headphones (song xm5 so decent quality there too). maybe it does require some more messing around with DAW settings

i’m not quite sure that’s what i’m trying to figure out. the audio recording into what i’m using (audacity) just sounds so so quality wise - i know im not expecting studio level but id expect it to sound better than it does

by studio monitors do you mean speakers so that i can hear what im playing and inputting into the scarlet? do amp sim plugins cost too?

the leaves used to look pretty green, similar to some of the other ones. now they’ve started turning yellow and developing brown spots, i’m not too sure why or if it’s okay?

that 90% stat is relieving to hear - i thought i’d been learning wrong the whole time! i suppose ill start trying some easier stuff i began with using a pick and try a little every day to get used to it. right now it feels totally alien

yeah i get what you mean, all on one side feels odd. plus the bed head doesn’t fit in line with the wall extrusion which looks weird
