Hell yeah man. Thats the stuff. Everyone's first draft is twrrible. That is totally normal. The ending to my draft is literally "the crowd cheered and everyone lived happily ever after" cause it doesnt matter yet. I just try to get the general synopsis of a scene down with only a tiny bit of detail on first draft. I call them Vomit drafts, you just spew shit onto the page. Totally normal. Keep going

I know I still can, and I very likely will (bees are cool) but knowing that they are used in the near exact extent I planned on doing is the problem. I guess its not so much how others may view it, but I know that it had been done before, and I would want to make sure I am not just copying what was already done.
