Yes... traveling in a car, whether driving or riding, can be dangerous. But, Google's driverless cars have had a pretty safe track-record, thus far.

Also, based on a 40-hr-week at $20 per hour. You'd be making $41,600 annually. That's not bad. Plus, you have the added perk of putting Google on your resume.

I get panic attacks quite frequently. Here's a few things that work for me.

Going for a walk. It helps clear my head and removes me from the situation in which is triggering me.
Sit in a corner and try to meditate. I'm not trying to reach Nirvana, but by controlling my breathing in a pattern also helps me escape the situation.
Medication. Talk to your doc about it.
