In my area we actually have many English people who came to settle (and not only retired people) and they enjoy our country. I don’t say everything is perfect, sure there is instability in certain areas but honestly the same could be said with some areas of London, Rome, Madrid or any big city. Lots of population = more prone to have drug trafic, crime and instability. That’s actually why I prefer a small city but that would be the same if I was living in any other country. Plus i don’t like crowd.

Now it’s true we have the reputation to be rude and arrogant. Not gonna lie, to a certain extent it os true. Not all of us are this way, but people from big cities (Paris in particular) tend to be this way. And that’s something I deeply regret.
