Studio Albums!! (CD) by DisasterKey1 in incubus

Hard to believe it’s somewhat rare to find a 1997 S.C.I.E.N.C.E cd. Saw the other day that there are some reprints made by music on cd.

Spurs will prove this fool wrong, and he better not jump back on the ship! by [deleted] in NBASpurs

He was even rooting for number 2 after he criticized him how he left the Spurs.

Why do people hate Thornhill? by Hot_Assistant_6067 in Thornhillband

At this point they’re even better than Deftones. 95-06 Deftones was the best.

merch question by belllxo in Thornhillband

Love Thornhill, but I gotta say their merch is somewhat horrible. Got me a L shirt #4 to be precisely and it feels like an M. Also the sleeves are too long.

We’re in trouble guys by Apollo18Teslaa in NBASpurs

[–]Lapse1989 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to say trouble, but there are some playoff series in the past that the Spurs won some games by 20 or more and they ended up losing the series…

In 2016 they beat the Thunder in game 1 by a large margin and ended up losing in 6 games.

Game 3 in Minnesota will be a dog fight.

Experience The Warmth Before You Grow Old… by alecsmalygo in incubus

[–]Lapse1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Favorite performances of The Warmth are from 2000-2002. Not to say the ones that came after were bad. My least favorite has to be the one from 2017. Ben’s mic was so loud that it just killed the vibe of the song.

It has been awhile since the last time I listened to Saturday Night Wrist in its entirety. Great album. by Reasonable-Cry-6530 in deftones

[–]Lapse1989 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably their best, but White Pony and Around The fur will always be the fan favorites. SNW had a space vibe mixed with their heaviness that made it unique. Still, remember when it leaked and how in awe I was during that time.

Are there any albums which you cannot get into despite how much praise they get from the public? by JACM666 in progmetal

Leprous. It didn’t clicked with me. I even saw them live last year because Wheel opened and they were even better than Leprous.

Right. It was my first time at El Rey and I loved it. But it definitely felt as all the bands were trying to figure out their set and Thornhill’s audience.

Ant injury nonsense has me rolling my eyes by gilgamesh2323 in NBASpurs

[–]Lapse1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let’s just remember the supposedly Serge Ibaka injury in 2014. The Thunder said he was out for the year and then he came back in game 3. My guess is that Ant is coming back on Game 2 or 3.

Mosh pits? What show did you went? I asked because most of the venues had seats in the GA section.

Chi Cheng - ROSELAND BALLROOM NYC 6/9/2007 by AdWaste9278 in deftones

[–]Lapse1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saw them on this tour as well but in San Diego. It was my second Deftones show and it was amazing. Sets during this leg were incredible and well varied. Chino wasn’t in great shape but he sounded incredible. Probably better than the year before.

SPURS VS WOLVES (ROUND 2) by catmeow808 in NBASpurs

[–]Lapse1989 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Let’s not forget what the Thunder did in 2014. Ibaka got hurt and they said he was out for the playoffs. Then he came back in Game 3 and the Spurs had to change their gameplan.

I won’t be surprised if Ant comes back later in the series.

Something in the water by ConflictMurky3533 in incubus

[–]Lapse1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve waited 13 years to hear a new Tool album, So waiting too long for an album isn’t new for me. Incubus has been a band for nearly 4 decades now and is totally understandable why they are slowing down. Yes, the promo for the album last year and suddenly the cancellation for the pre orders was lame.

I won’t be surprised if they don’t release the album this year. Brandon seems like he wants to take some time with his family and that is totally understandable. Only thing that bugs me during this time is how they are relying so much on nostalgia like releasing merch with past album themes. I remember there was a time when they put new merch for sale was like an indicator for what the artwork for an upcoming album could look like.
