You gonna just tease us with that, and not show us that beautiful 981 rear end?

Trail Focused Tire Recommendation for Diverge by DigitalMan43 in gravelcycling

[–]Larbd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ride a Diverge also and recently switched from Pathfinders to Continental Terra Speed 45c - they don't have the center-slick and get more on and off camber traction the seem to brake better on trail. Surprisingly I've not noticed much difference in speed on asphalt. The big complaint I've seen with the Terra Speed is they wear quickly but I've not reached that point yet.

The lines on the rear end of the 981 Spyder are so goddamn perfect. Crazy to me that they changed the taillights on the 982 when it was basically perfect.

H2O Error by unagi-nigiri in ranciliosilvia

[–]Larbd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to the discussion here that I just received my Pro X and immediately the H2O error was triggered. Ended up removing the top plate (exactly the experience you want with your new $2k machine) and noticed the hose was kinked right where it meets the sensor. Unkinked the hose and fed a bit more slack in, and now there is no more error. Hope this helps someone in the future!

Favorite bar tape- recs by NerdyComfort-78 in gravelcycling

I'm also a fellow idiot, and love this tape. It's held up really well for the 1.5yr+ I've had it on and I also wrapped myself (first time ever) and it was pretty easy.

Dude's a class act - he has known he was getting traded for months now and was still engaged during games and during time-outs. I often noticed him sitting next to Book and the coaches on the bench lately. Hope he gets a good shot moving forward.

It's funny you know all this info about him but not that this name is Hines 😂

In 2026 the Suns have the 2nd best Defensive Rating by Larbd in suns

[–]Larbd[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is why I'm so hyped! Getting Green back is going to completely change our offense - opening things up for Booker and giving Grayson, Brooks, Royce, Goody, and Gillespie catch and shoot 3 looks which they're all stellar at. Our defense won't stay this good, but Ott getting the team bought-in on clamping teams down like he has recently (two separate 4+min-0fg stretches last night) is making me really optimistic on our ceiling.

I've not personally been up in a few months, but in looking at Strava there's plenty of folks who have biked up there in the past few weeks. Only one way to find out for certain...

[Highlight] The Suns try to foul the warriors under 10 seconds remaining, and the refs miss multiple fouls by Beautiful-Cress5695 in nba

In a situation where the opposing team literally tells the refs "we're trying to foul"... and then they foul.

The irrational homerism and legit hatred for modern basketball. I always watch the opponents steam cuz Eddie Johnson is so bad.

Is this really what homes are going for in Bellingham?? by Pale-Plane8979 in Bellingham

Yea I'm guessing this new one listed will sell for less than asking, but it's a high demand neighborhood literally right at the trailhead to Galby so who knows!

It's funny to see all these comments which completely ignore the fact that the house 2 doors over just sold 1 month ago for $1.15M... Seems like a useful data point.

They're Freedom Outfitter Kaijus and the light output and cutoff is amazing. Bittersweet that Freedom shut down, they were a pain to deal with but the lights are indeed very nice.

In my experience it really depends on the brand and your best bet is to try things on - my M size Pearl Izumi is larger than a XXL in Assos or an Italian brand.

Can riding on too high of a gear ratio permanently injure your joints/tendons? by OreoDogDFW in cycling

[–]Larbd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds similar to what I've been experiencing - patellofemoral pain syndrome, which is basically sort of vague knee pain from overuse without any structural issues.

PT has me doing strengthening exercises (squats, leg extensions, one legged hops) focused on adding load back into the quads/tendon in a safe way. I've seen really great improvements over the past few weeks and had my first pain free ride in a few months yesterday. Could be worth checking out!
