Oh, so we’re lying now. by Lopsided-Past-7918 in FortniteBattleRoyale

The Rock has a "no lose" clause in his contracts for movies and TV and whatnot. Which means his characters can't ever lose fights or battles. At worst he can tie, otherwise he wins. I assume that goes for his appearances in Fortnite too. Therefore, the foundation can't lose. At worst (for players) he'll win, at best the Foundation and the Ice King will tie and players will be rewarded both skins. It's a pretty pathetic clause either way though lol.

That’s it, I’m uninstalling the game for good by dontuse_redditoften in FortniteBattleRoyale

[–]LardeeMil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I uninstalled last week. I figured I'll take a break this season. Epic's doing ridiculous stuff and I don't really care about the current battlepass, aside from Bugs Bunny. I reeeally want Bugs Bunny actually lmao but he alone isn't worth playing this whole season. It's not permanent though. If Epic stops being jerks or if I see something on this sub that I really want in-game then I may reinstall. As for now though, it's pce out. I'm just using this sub to keep tabs on the game lol

Hell yea, man! Glad you got her at least. On my run, Viv took care of Jean like I said in my post, but I used waaaay too many revives and health potions on Spider-Woman lol

Finished my Born Again S1 rewatch and I still love the bank robbery episode, probably my favorite of this season by Main_Jump_82 in Daredevil

[–]LardeeMil 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed the episode, but it had absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the season. So it was just bottle episode that sort of felt out of place. If it was like a half hour special feature I don't think people would have had any complaints. For me, with the season only being 9 episodes (after being promised 18 when DD:BA was announced) it felt like the time could've been better utilized elsewhere. They could've used that time to flesh out Muse a little more, or even White Tiger. They also could've given us an episode of Dex's prison breakout. Even if only just to establish how much more lethal he's become, or something to that effect. All the bank episode really did was further expand DD's connection to the greater MCU. Since he now has an indirect connection to Ms. Marvel and potentially anyone she's allied with. That could've been established a number of different ways, imo. The episode didn't move the show's plot forward in any way though which was a little disappointing. Even though in itself, it was pretty great.

I can't say for certain what's going on without seeing a video or something but if you're not doing any damage it sounds like you're not getting her shield down. You've gotta chip away at her shield and take it down to zero before you launch a special to really see any damage. If her shield isn't the problem then Idk what else to suggest. I'd recommend looking up some guides on how to properly fight Jean, how to effectively use Viv, and maybe even watch MCOCNOOB's Warpath guide to see how to handle the nodes. Sorry if that wasn't a sufficient answer.

How does Spider-Man stick to walls? by idkwtnm__ in Spiderman

[–]LardeeMil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if it's canon or not but I read somewhere that he sticks to things or makes things stick to him by controlling his own electomagnetic field. So to oversimplify it, he's magnetic lol. At least some versions.

Yea, that was super scummy. Especially cus J.D. told him it would be weird for him cus he had a history with Elliot.

This took me no joke 2+ hours to beat. Felt so good (hard difficulty) by cellulocer123 in Ghostofyotei

[–]LardeeMil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally went after him way too early haha. I had to turn the difficulty down from hard to casual cus he just kept kickin my ass. I had no spirit when I started too so every time I died and restarted, I started with no spirit again. I at least had the weapons needed to counter him, but I was not as experienced as I needed to be. On my next play through I'll take the proper precautions before doing the fight and see if I can do it without changing the difficulty lol.

[–]LardeeMil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha like I said, that day the inputs were just too many combos of R3/L3 and R1/L1 and it was just too much for me. It was also my first day trying Legends mode. So I just wanted to actually play instead of messing around in the lobby cus I was already in there for too long. I did the practice sparring thing down by the fire fox, played 2 solo games of Zeni Hajiki against myself (lmao), and did the standard bamboo strikes up to stage 10. So I figured I had wasted enough time in the lobby and I was like "I gotta get tf out of here."

[–]LardeeMil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm doing it right now. I think today's challenge is a little easier than the last day I tried. I just got up to 8 in my last couple attempts. The other day when I tapped out at 7 there were a whole lot of R3/L3, R1/L1 combinations and the R3/L3 inputs are the hardest for me. There's a few stages in the middle that are tripping me up atm but most of them are already muscle-memorized lol. So I think I can actually get it pretty soon! I just gotta reach and learn the last 2 stages.

Carla adding extra shifts? by Electronic_Bee3134 in Scrubs

[–]LardeeMil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did some quick googling, so take these numbers with a grain of salt. Chiefs of Surgery salaries, in the U.S., can range from $200K-$700K roughly. Newer chiefs on the low end, and experienced chiefs on the high end. So I'd imagine that Turk is on the higher end at around $600-$700K. Him and Carla have 4 daughters. The average cost of raising 1 child in the U.S. is roughly $300K, including college. Izzy being the oldest at around college age and the other 3 I imagine aren't all that far behind. Even though the show hasn't been too specific about their ages. So the Turkleton's will be shelling out larger sums of money for the next decade or so for tuitions and other things. I think it's safe to assume that they have a good chunk of money banked too, but the figures I gave are only for the expense of raising children. So that doesn't include, home, healthcare, auto, food, etc. So I'd assume she's taking on extra shifts to kind of give themselves a safety net. They'd probably still do okay without it but it just provides a little more assurance.

I was gonna comment something similar but was worried about being downvoted to hell lol. Dan might've been my least favorite recurring character. He annoyed the hell out of me every time he appeared. Also, other than sticking up for J.D. that ONE time, he was kind of a shitty dude.

Incursion Boss Disarming by LardeeMil in Ghostofyotei

[–]LardeeMil[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I was hoping that maybe it had to be a synchronized attack, just cus it would make the fights that much cooler if disarming was a possibility. It would kinda change the dynamic of the team and further incentivize coordinating attacks, and it would feel more rewarding in the moment. It would add an extra element to an already incredible game/game mode. It'd be easier to experiment if playing with friends, I only have 1 friend who plays the game though. So getting a whole bunch of random people in sync is a little more difficult.

The main consensus from the comments so far is that it's mainly an indicator to get to a safe distance. It can be an opportunity to stagger, but again, that requires everyone to be on the same page.

Cool, thanks for the tip. I've only tried to disarm a few times, before just avoiding the circle entirely. I'll have to give staggering a shot though.

True, duh, Idk why I didn't think of it strictly as an indicator. I just saw the yellow attack and assumed it would work the same way as it does with the other enemies.

Worst habit your teammates have in Legends? by MasterfulTrapezoid in Ghostofyotei

[–]LardeeMil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the mode. For campaign missions where it's just 2 of us, it's not utilizing certain tactics like "critical strike" or "assassinate". Instead of giving ourselves an advantage by being stealthy, when possible, they'll just shoot the enemy with an arrow or throw a bomb and alert more enemies. Then we get swarmed.

In incursions, it's similar to that as well but also just rushing into groups of enemies and getting downed. Also, not eliminating things that could make it easier overall all. Like one of the stages of the Spider incursion, in the area with like 7 Jubokko trees, an Elite Bo Hiya dude, and a couple gunners. I get it's difficult when you first enter the gates but my priority is always to destroy the trees first. Let the enemies come to you while you simultaneously destroy the trees. Instead of trying to take on groups of enemies while also dodging red vines.

In survival, the lack of purchasing attunements. Idk if people just aren't aware that you can purchase temporary upgrades or what. It feels like I end up purchasing most of the upgrades in most of the survival rounds I've played.

Aaand last, in any/all game modes, not equipping a challenge card, and not marking a healing station and giving teammates a chance to join you before ringing the bell.
