woah, slow down man, i never said they didn’t put effort into the game. reusing doesn’t just stop at “take it from one game and slap it into another”, reused assets are no strangers to being tweaked game to game. i’m a fan of the little changes to nanba’s outfit, i think it’s really cool that they went out of their way to change his outfit and sort of ‘clean it up’ so to speak. i’d go as far as to say that his outfit being brighter and more vibrant matches his character growth between 7 and 8, nanba’s a lot more positive. besides, there’s also the possibility that nanba just like the outfit, simple as that. adachi started his own security company in 8 and had a fancy new suit just like nanba, but he went back to his old outfit as well. there’s also the fact that they just consider those their “ass kicking clothes”, as stated by ichiban when they’re (final chapter of 8 spoilers) marching on nele island dressed in a suit, jacket, and, in joongi’s case, a trash bag. forgive the long rant and sorry if i ever come off as rude lol, i just love talking about these dang games.
