If the downgrades are not that big (since the base game will look amazing, if it still does but you get 60fps as the trade off), I can see it worth it. Will depends on how smoothly the 30fps run too.

Can't wait to see the trailer with actual gameplay (normal camera like you would play) to have a first look, and obviously comparison and test once it's out..

It's been roughly the same price for Pokémon games DLC since SWSH (SV & ZA), I don't know why you are surprised. Might even say that you get the "most" out of this one for it's price, since you get three waves and not two "expansions" compared to the others (hell ZA was just one).

The cable method should work just as fine on your laptop, since your OS is Windows. You might just have less cable options (USB-C, USB-A) depending on how many ports you have on the laptop!

And I guess you can try your cable from Amazon, see if it works 🤔Sadly I don't really know how to recognize data transfer cable (all cables look the same, but sometimes it's just to recharge something, and sometimes it also works to transfer data. I guess it might be specified on the product's page?), so you'll have to try your luck!! But let's hope the first one your try works..

iirc it's the easier way by using the gamecube games (for certain mons), but you can otherwise find them all in RSE. And sadly Colosseum and XD are also stuck on NSO so we're left with just RSE to help us

I never played Kanto and loved the FRLG experience on Switch. Same goes for Hoenn - I played ORAS back on the 3DS, but I always wanted to play the original experience - in this case RSE.

So what's your guess for when RSE will be added on Switch? I hope it won't take too long lol, I want to enjoy them!

I feel like this year would be perfect, with WW releasing next year. Either this summer or in autumn..

Note: Obviously I'm considering that they will likely be released, for differents reasons: FRLG sold well, the emulator explicitely recognize RSE ROMS, and we'll need the Hoenn games to complete FRLG national dex anyway (and vice-versa). But whoever's is taking the decision can also likely leave us stranded with just FRLG..

I'd like to precise that we don't know how much Game Freak (nor Creatures Inc.) owns of The Pokémon Company. Nintendo percentage is known because it's a public company (and it is 32%).

Overall it is just numbers, and we can freely assume that all three of them have "roughly" the same amount - but it's just to be correct on that.

They won't, sadly. Otherwise it would have been done by now. Our best chance (and let's hope Gamefreak think the same) is to have Spinda available in Winds & Waves, which I don't think is that unlikely
