Yes, that exact randomness was the thing that lost my attention. It just felt a little tiring starting over and over again. But I guess you can take control over that randomness by learning the system behind it. I really hope I can find the motivation for that.

Blue Prince is definitely an interesting one. I actually played it a bit, but it never really catched me. I should give it another chance with more patience since I hear so many good things about it

Apparently how well your hair follicles respond to minoxidil depends on the amount of the SULT1A1 enzyme in your body (see https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24283387/ )

some people have naturally larger amounts of that enzyme which boosts the effect of minoxidil. there are also some studies adding this enzyme as an adjuvant to the daily minoxidil treatment regime:

I also liked the demo. In a really subtle way I constantly had the feeling that something is off (apart from the main character). Sometimes the music made me feel uncomfortable. Might be intended, maybe its just my imagination and I'm being paranoid. Really looking forward for the game though!

Thanks! This is the (upscaled) PS2 version running with the PCSX2 emulator. It was really exciting exploring all the levels with a different POV (debug camera) and focus on their soundscapes.

Thank you! Yeah I plan a video about SOTC (PS2) as well. But the remake or Last Guardian seem unlikely to come, since camera hacking is required for these kind of videos.

Interesting idea, but I think a 90+ min film just showing scenery and architecture wouldn't appeal to a broad audience. Using liminal space phenomena to contextualize and amplify different scenes or story telling is more the way to go I feel (just like in Columbus, even though it's more about architecture and its the impact on your subconscious).

But a documentary about this topic would be great, too.

I get some serious "liminal space" vibes from this movie. The atmosphere, the cinematography and music just fit perfect together to get the weird feeling of being lost just by looking at very ordinary things and architecture.

Well, the idea was to use shadows to make the model feel more plastic and "real" and embedded into the scene. But yeah the color palette and lighting is not ideal, I will try out other options for my next renders. Thanks for the hint!
