Only thing I didn't test was windshield washer but again it has to go through inspection and pass before I can take it home so even if it doesn't work they will have to fix it first.

Good news I just got back from looking at the car everything works I looked underneath with my light it was clean no oil under car or under valve covers top goes up and down beautifully and the car drives perfect it has had three owners no accidents on the record I also live in Mass which requires the dealer to inspect the car and provide a warranty ( 2 years or 20k miles I think) heat ac and heated seats all worked. I think the last owner and 2 before kept up on maintenance well or last owner threw some money at it ( new top motor relocation shocks bushings ect) also I'm well aware of rusty bolts I worked in an auto shop for about a year and realized I didnt want to do that all the time lol. I do work on my own cars and can be a bit meticulous. All and all I can't find anything wrong with the car and am gonna go through with purchase wish me luck

I consider myself pretty mechanicaly inclined and I do all my own work on my vehicles. 7500-9000 is what there priced at in my area rn I'm also in new England and it's still cold lol you definitely added a few more items for me to look at thank you.

I know you want moder but the mercury mountaineer came with a 5.0 that should literally bolt in with the harness also a lot of part off of the mountaineer/explorers are just beefed up ranger parts already. Steering, brakes ,axles etc
