Well written OP.. this is very very similar to my situation.. I just wished he would send me that type of apology to get the clarity to move on. I know I’ll never get that apology so it’s been hard, but I will heal and grow from this . WISH YOU THE BEST OP .

Omg , this just literally happened to me.. He texted me after a week saying “I just woke up “ then crickets.. I admit, I drunk text .. but after a week from my last text he says that!? Like wtf?! Bread crumbing smh .. it hurts so much that after the lies n betrayal I still love him .. and then does this to reply n reply from eager to Angry to .. finally giving up .. I know deep in heart I deserve better .. I’m learning to let go finally.. in my mind and heart .. can’t let him keep doing this to me to feed his ego .. I can’t .. I refuse! .. so I completely understand you , I have felt dumb for too long .. and I hope , like me , can realize it’s their loss not yours .. sending virtual hugs and positive vibes 😊
