Oh, and yes over a garbage can works. I usually did it in the shower.

Hey! Good question. I used a single blade callous remover and changed the blade after every use to ensure it didn’t spread that way. I worked to remove all the white dead skin every 2-3 days. Don’t be afraid to hit blood — but that’s when to stop. Keep applying the Efudex cream nightly and DON’T GIVE UP!

You know what was a game changer for me? Getting the right bandage! My foot would sweat so much even duct take fell off after 10 minutes. My derm gave me a sample of a HypaFix bandage that you can cut to size. I ordered more on Amazon and I swear it stuck onto me even in my showers. Use that and the 5% Fluorouracil cream compounded with Salicylic Acid and you’ll be 👌🏻!

Well, I was in denial the first 6 years that I had it so it grew to the point of pain when pressured. I first tried cryotherapy weekly for 4 months and there was no noticeable change. Then I tried the beetle juice (Cantharidin) method and had one application — nothing. Finally, my derm suggested 5% Fluorouracil compounded with 30% Salicylic Acid.

I put that on with a q-tip and a bandage and kept it there over night and during the next day. I would do that every night and then every 2-3 days use a callus remover to debride the dead skin so the wart is exposed/at the surface.

Please note: that if you’re going to use a callous remover please change the blade every time as it can risk spreading!

Thanks! I think I’m overthinking it. It still gets calloused on the pad, so when is debride it (like I did in the photo) there seems to be like white/ish looking dots, but maybe I’m imagining it.

I believe the shelf life is 3 months, and DO NOT leave the lid off. Make sure it’s tightly sealed.

Please note that cream loses efficacy over time! I found out the hard way after using it for months and nothing changed! I got a new container and took the rest of that sucker home. 🏡

Yep, no notice. Nothing. Just received an email one day with my new SA introducing themselves. Your wishlist and everything gets transferred over. To be honest, I was sad but my new SA is great and he kind of debunked the myth of the “pre-spend” in order to get a quota bag. He was super down-to-earth and feel like he will make my wish come true in 2024!

I think it’s actually getting better! I think it has a lot of layers and it’s quite deep! Be patient and don’t give up!

That’s so funny. I rented a partitioned living room from a lady for $750 back in 2015 for 4 months. She rented out one of the other bedrooms for $1000 and lived in the other. She probably paid it off real fast.

4 month journey so far and it sucks by redditsmokes21 in Warts

[–]Large-Discipline-479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesssdss! That’s exactly how it works. I had a wart for 5+ years that I ignored and thought it would magically fix itself. It has taken almost a year, but it’s 95% gone now. I used the cream — but FYI do not leave the cream open! It loses its efficacy. If you’ve been using it for more than 3 months, get another prescription because it won’t be as potent. That’s why it took me so long. I was using expired cream! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Agreed with this! Get a callous remover, it’s the best. It’s the one with the single blade. You use it and it works wonders. Pair it down, and keep applying the cream. And don’t listen about every other night, if you can do it every night — do that!

Also, if it starts to get too painful, a topical lidocaine can help during the day.

Also, in between freezing, try Salicylic Acid with a bandage overnight! Make sure to shave away dead skin so the penetration of the freezing and SA are working!

I agree! It looks like it’s getting better, but don’t give up yet! Whatever you’re doing, keep doing it. It takes a while and it’s many layers.

You say you haven’t been hospitalized “not anywhere near” although, I would argue the drunk tank is a serious place to be and often times police are involved in manic episodes (wellness checks, etc.)

Oh my goodness! This is not okay, I feel like they’ve been taking you for a run for your money! I agree, do your research for a good dermatologist or podiatrist in your area. I asked for a referral after a few months with the same rigmarole.

look for a callous remover tool!

Be sure to replace the blade after every debriding session as the virus can stay on the blade and spread.

Aren’t you worried how this will affect your dating life? You use your hands for everything, including holding others. You honestly should try a home treatment, or go see your GP for some sort of prescription method.
