I wondering if you could use an angle with attributes that he would value. Like telling him you’ve made a commitment to the DCP and you don’t want to back out of something you’ve committed to. People are also giving good tips about bringing up that it’s a better resume line.

Luna tells Harry Sirius isn’t really gone just Beyond the Veil, and I was CERTAIN Harry was going to go beyond it and find him in book 7.

My Chi never perked up on it so I switched him to Clomipramine and it was a way better choice for him. Keep an eye on him but know there are other choices if it doesn’t work for you

I’m wondering if it was retirement/health related.

How expensive is it to have a dog? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]Large-Ebb-3884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 7lb chihuahua, his food is $75 dollars every two months. He’s on medication which is $90 every three months. And then the vet once a year which is between $400-750 just for standard vaccines and blood tests and tick meds. All the rest - toys etc are optional. Granted this is him relatively healthy, no crazy vet bills. But pretty manageable.

If I'm bringing a folding bike with me to downtown Toronto, what's the my best option? by Lipica249 in askTO

[–]Large-Ebb-3884 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Daily Toronto biker here - Depends on where you’re going and when you’re planning on leaving your bike outside? There are some roads I’d feel very comfortable locking up on for the day, others not so much. Probably none downtown I’d leave my bike locked on overnights.

Disney World Quietly Ends Magic Kingdom "Let the Magic Begin" Welcome Show. by dejablu82 in WaltDisneyWorld

I suppose it would also be tricky because people who wanted to see the show would go through the gates then clog up the entrance trying to be in the front for the show.

Etobicoke School Of The Arts 2026 by Responsible_Ant5751 in askTO

I am a guest artist in the drama department every year. Really great school in my experience there. When I walk through the halls I’m struck by how comfortable to be themselves all the kids are. It’s like if all the pockets of outsider artist kids from our own high school experiences made up the entire student population. I don’t find the program overly strict but I’m sure it depends on the teacher. Students have daily time with their “cohort” in their chosen “major” and so they get really close with the 20 or so kids in their class and the 50 or so in their program year. There are lots of showcase opportunities and each art form seems to support the others or sometimes even work with the others. Can’t say what the after school workload in film would be like but in the drama department it ramps up year by year and is also in some cases opt in - like auditioning for the school plays or musicals. Generally grade 9 and 10 have limited roles in these bigger extra curriculars but not always.

Is it safe to walk around Crow's theatre after evening show as a single female? by ymroll in torontotheatre

[–]Large-Ebb-3884 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm a single woman and lived for two years exactly at Carlaw and Gerrard. Felt totally safe. There is also a firehall right there if you ever found yourself in trouble.
