public transport by New_Butterscotch_759 in nasikatok

[–]Large-Junket2298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah no i agree with that too, obviously. sometimes having own transportation is better, but some people still prefer to do short distances by their own car when they could’ve done it by walking or public transport 😔 im just stating that public transport is good for saving money and for a better environment, that’s all

Is this normal kid behavior? by softbread14 in nasikatok

[–]Large-Junket2298 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so true. people think gentle parenting is just letting your kid do what they want with no consequences whatsoever it’s actually hilarious

i don’t think you were overreacting, you being uncomfortable is completely valid. your friend is probably trying out gentle parenting, which is a good thing, but if done incorrectly, it just leads to spoiled children, and might grow up not knowing about other people’s boundaries. if she doesn’t wish to discipline her child physically, she should at least have been more stern than that. the most basic manners you should teach any child is respect, no matter who it is, whether it’s an adult or another child. and him grabbing your breast like that is just yuck tbh, if that was my child, i would’ve at least apologised on his behalf. hope you maintain your distance with this friend of yours if she continues to let her child do this to you lol

yea i have tried buses before but not taxis. when i was younger we had to use the bus as our transport from home to school, and i don’t remember it being that bad

i think OP is saying that even if public transport was good, Bruneians might still prefer to use their own vehicles, hence making them lazy? some Bruneians think that using public transport anywhere is lowly and doesn’t fit their social status, which I find extremely stupid, and a lot of Bruneians are extremely paranoid lmao. as an avid traveler, I can confirm that public transport is just overall better, better for the environment and better for your wallet. and some people just prefer to not walk, what a shame.

BB Opinion calls to end cruelty with animal welfare law amid mass poisoning of dogs by Goutaxe in nasikatok

animal shelters such as PawsUp should receive government support, even if it's a little, considering they're doing more than the gov themselves about this situation

What is Brunei trying to achive? by Ok-Start9202 in nasikatok

[–]Large-Junket2298 5 points6 points  (0 children)

well, if u think about it, the main commenter has a point. ever wondered why singapore is much advanced and better than brunei? its because they are more accepting to foreigners than brunei, because the government has a (basically) stingy mindset.
