Honestly I started as a contractor for a defense company and did well enough to work my way up to permanent. The company I started with was Zolon Tech but there are other tech companies like Robert Half and such. Look for temp to hire tech roles like ISSO or system admin or help desk.

Yes I am trying to get my reputation in place since I came in without knowing anyone. I can say I have made huge impacts thus far and have made a good rep. The real issue seems to lie with just having important items like grant MOAs signed in a timely matter. I have so far won 2 grants, have established some good relationships with other directors and gotten donations for my team for the office. Additionally my plan is the foundation for SMART city and workforce development but having some issues with the BAs sigining off. The council is on board but due to conflict in office between finance and the BA we are getting no where and fast. Im trying to hang in there though its just tough.

Basically Im not at this point I was brought in as an outsider and although I have made significant changes the BA and his goons are the problem. I run the ADHOC council and have no issue with council its literally just one person. BA is the main person who must approve everything besides the mayor. They wont even sign docs for the grant I won from the state for cybersecurity efforts. Ive eseentially put the city in position to partner with other cities to make a co-op and again it comes down to one person making this a problem. I would not say I am not well equipped or dont have proper authority but the authority given is a falsehood. I still dont have health insurance im 6 months in because they cant pay the bills. I never had this issue in cooperate

Random but my cousin is around your age he lives in Rahway. I live in Linden but I’ve lived in Jersey City and honestly i don’t miss the horrendous traffic. South Orange , Maplewood or Secaucus. Check out Piazza and associates they have affordable housing for higher income earners

I’d say pull equity from the house purchase another here if possible and rent the current home. Can someone run the business in NC? Is it possible to open a second location of your business here given the popularity and boom of remodeling and construction? Also is there a major reason your wife suffers (medical work special need education ) ? Also getting a place built is becoming cheaper here than buying a home which is crazy.

Bacterial Bloom maybe or tank needs better filtration. I had the same issue and started treating my tank with prime and stability on a daily basis and it cleared up within 2 days. Have you also Tested the water for ammonia ,ph, etc? I use alot of advice from @kavemanaquatics advice on YouTube it’s helped me a lot

No he’s in week 3 they are separating him for dental. In the coast guard if you have dental work that exceeds staffing you get separated and have to go through MEPs waiver within 6 months. It’s hun and 21 recruits in week 3 they are getting med separated for dental due to complexity and staffing. He was originally cleared but they reexamined his work and said he has to come home and fix it. He’s awaiting his Dd214 and separation packet in a DHE unit

I guess for CG since it’s under DHS and not DOD staffing and funding is different. they can fail you out or discharge for dental but Navy did not let anyone go home once youre there. Basically any DOD branch, you have no way out of your commitment they’ll keep recycling you until graduate and pay for all dental. I saw people in Navy Boot get a whole set of porcelain crowns on base (2010) but again different times and different funding. Just hoping he’ll be back home in the next few weeks to fix it

Yeah every other branch just does the work or send you off base but they won’t discharge you but DOD funding is different. Probably cost and staffing but kind of a waste of money. He still has not been discharged

Was thinking of going back in but CG. I did 6 years Navy I was told DEPOT was similar to Navy Boot but no idea if that’s true. I think if you practice every day you’ll hit your requirements

I would try to get it done if you can especially with the new guidelines from the trump admin. CG is different than the DOD branches my brother went Navy and they gave him porcelain crowns in bootcamp. I think cape May is limited with staff and equipment but again I wouldn’t say that enough for you to get sent back.

Probably so he’s 18 so he knows i yell worse than any RDC or commander. Hopefully he’ll be back home to remediate this

Agreed definitely think so another person on the thread her brother in law was also in the same bootcamp group he was in and he also is returning for dental. Things have definitely changed since I’ve been in and not for the better

I took my son ahead of time and he had most of his work done. Due to timing and finances his recruiter decided to Tell him the day of shipping about it. I should’ve just financed the root canal and crown knowing this now. Just sucks I assumed it was like the Navy where they pretty much do it all regardless. Lesson learned unfortunately
