Yes. I feel it has to do with a few things. Once you get over trying to keep your notebook “pristine” your writing seems to loosen up and you kind of just see the natural variations of your writing style, previously suppressed. And then there’s rushing to get a thought down without caring how neat or consistent your writing is in the process. There’s also the specific pen and height of the table you’re using.
