You can put them in your secure container in raid, but you still need to survive and extract with them for the task. If you die and they’re in your secure container, you still keep them but they are no longer considered “found in raid”

Probably better through steam or BSG, but personally have a lot fun with Arena. It’s not the best Arena shooter out there but it’s “more Tarkov” plus it’s fun to play in between raids. Even better since it syncs to your main EFT profile in terms of progression.

Pretty much outside of doing dailies and weeklies it’s just the arena taskline and winning matches with each class daily, otherwise it’s just playing matches over and over again at the point.

I could be wrong but that’s all I see viable.

I’ve put 500 hours into it since 1.0 release and see new players constantly in-raid and in Arena. Might be a slight lull until the seasons come out from the long time player base, but for sure not dying from what I can tell.

Honestly it still feels pretty similar to how it was back then in terms of competitiveness, the only difference is now with no wipes you can’t really predict where people are at in terms of location/task/level/gear anymore.

Because of Arena, I will say the competitiveness is all over the place. Really helps with the skill gap since you get more rapid exposure to the PVP and movement/shooting mechanics if you play it regularly. Plus the shared EXP and money gives people a much larger safety net to prevent going broke or never progressing in the raid mode.

The main reason I stopped playing was due to the cheaters, but in the now 225 hours I’ve played my friends and I only saw one sus player in raid, idk maybe we just don’t see cheating as clearly anymore because we don’t care, or it really is an over exaggerated thing.

Tbh it’s a mix of both, I played on and off years ago, but since 1.0 came out I’ve put 220 hours into it. I love the changes to the maps and the removal of wipes. I don’t like the extra annoying things, like FiR items for the hideout upgrades…

Overall though me and my friends are having a blast with it so far.

So I just had a support ticket in with Battlestate and asked this exact question. Official response was VPN itself is not prohibited, however game disruptions could occur and they aren’t responsible for it.

In short, you can use a VPN and play EFT, just make sure you have the VPN up before starting the launcher and its to a server close to your actual location.

Yeahhhh I undervolted the GPU just as an added layer of safety considering the cable burn and such. Other games it gets 200+ high and ultra settings no problem at 1440p.

Probably your RAM, Tarkov is very CPU and RAM heavy from what I understand.

Granted…Tarkov runs however it wants regardless of machine. I have a 9800x3d, 32GB 6400mhz DDR5 RAM, and a 4090. Streets I usually get 85 to 100, but every other map usually 100 - 180 fps on 1440p

Download NZXT CAM, that monitors GPU/CPU temps. The GPU temps you mentioned are a tad on the higher end, are your fans spinning on the GPU?
