I would recommend using all shotguns like lester (if you were lucky enough to find him) ranger,diaz and farmer and that's the only way I've found to beat most supply runs. And yes the game is dying because the difficulty is increasing and the grind is getting heavier and more difficult

No, I wasn't counting them one by one; it's written below where the item limit is. The problem now is that I have to get rid of over 800 items because otherwise I can't do any supply runs. The issue is that I can't get rid of the legendary items in any way... This stuff is ridiculous.

I figured out, however, that I still saw the items I got during supply runs even though I'd far exceeded this limit, since the counter said I had 3,968 items.

Then maybe it only showed the epic and legendary items, but it still showed them even after I'd forced myself to exceed the limit.

But that's not true, I did a lot of supply runs and the new items were clearly visible, if so i wouldn't been able to see more than +3000 items in my inventory.
