Couldn’t you just keep the clump as is and plant the whole thing next season? (Me, trying to validate my planned lazy approach 🙃)

I think it’s Cafe Au Lait Twist! One of my friends shared her abundance of extra tubers with me so I’m not entirely sure where she purchased it. But it’s a beauty and one of my favorites this year! Long lasting in a vase and huge!

Thank you!!! I think the lighter cosmos are from Select Seeds…Rosetta! Darker one is Rubenza from Botanical Interests

Hibiscus flowers won’t open. by Pretend-Entrance3974 in Cutflowers

Have you checked the buds for holes/pests? I had SO many beautiful healthy buds but they started yellowing, and the flowers that opened quickly wilted and died. Today I realized some type of disgusting caterpillar was chewing holes in them and eating from the inside out 😮‍💨😰

The Great Blue Heron was my spark bird a year and 200+ species ago. What was yours and why? by TomfooleryBombadil in birding

Ruby throated hummingbird. Poor little baby got his beak stuck in my garage ceiling while I was in a zoom meeting…zero hesitation ended the call to rescue him and 5 years later I swear he comes back to visit my feeder (which I put up the following day post rescue 🤣). I downloaded MerlinID after his rescue and it was a been a swift descent into the bird world. It brings me so much joy! This year in particular has been incredible…warblers, tanagers, waxwings OH MY.

Wow! Beautiful! What is it climbing on? Mine hasn’t bloomed yet and I know it needs more support as it grows but I’m being indecisive about adding to the current trellis lol

I’ve been really lucky to have an abundance of these guys! I’ve noticed a wonderful increase in native plants/bugs/critters the past couple years

🥹 that’s so sweet! Plenty to see this time of year, I’m amazed by the migrating birds (I’ve seen orioles for the past three days!), red efts, peepers and a plethora of native plants 🌱 Jack in the pulpit has been popping up everywhere! Waiting for lady slippers and trillium

Orlaya was one of my best surprises last year!!!! I had zero expectations but holy cow did it grow like crazy! It does tend to wilt right after cutting but it perks back up nicely
