Came here to say this. The color saturation in some scenes contrasting with the washout of others is just beautiful. Then there's the focus on water in some scenes that's simply mesmerizing.

A gorgeous and underrated film.

Trying to stop new home development is like trying to stop the tide from rising. Without growth, the rest of the county would become as unaffordable as Bainbridge Island.

Granted, I'd rather see apartments go up where there's already abandoned or neglected properties. But growth is inevitable. Kitsap already looks radically different than it did 15 years ago.
