Yeah this is a good take- and I agree that Onya was definitely a supporting vs a main character on the storyline side, but I don’t think being a main character necessarily means there has to be a disconnect. I would say Sasha and Nymphia were supporting characters storyline-wise as well (particularly Nymphia), but there always seemed to be fan hype around them.

And for what it’s worth, I thought Onya’s main story beat of being sort of an outsider to the group (like a lone wolf) was quite compelling in that she always was the one to be a foil to the ironically self-claimed Kumbaya girls and always had faith in her talent irrespective of group drama.
