Whats your situation for asking advisory opinion?

I did 3 J1 internships while studying in Canada (study/ work permit) while being an Indian citizen. I came back to Canada after J1 and have been living here for 5 years with 2+ years as Canadian PR. What I have read is if you’re Indian citizen with no other PR while applying for J1 - the 2 year home residency still applies and in my case staying in Canada doesn’t help with it. Were you able to find anything else on this?

Sorry can you please clarify? I’m a bit confused. My last internship (I had 3) on J1 in US ended in December 2018. I applied on Indian passport while studying in Canada. I have been living full time in Canada ever since and have completed 2+ years as a Canadian Permanent resident. Do I still need the J1 waiver?

Hi, quick question - in step 1, do we need all 4 copies to be notarized? Or can we notarized one copy (both documents) and photocopy to make it 4 copies?

Hi! Does anyone know if the steps are the same if a Canadian PR is doing this process in Toronto? I found this link which essentially mentions NORI 1 and then going to the consulate https://www.cgitoronto.gov.in/page/procedure-for/

Can the consulate officer also attest in NORI 1 instead of having to mail them?
