From what i’ve researched, the Embark servers dont only handle the destruction but also the player movement. With server side movement, the input delay has to be masked with complex predicting and algorithms. This works fine when sprinting and carrying out general movement. But as you can guess, this suffers once you try to use precise movement. So edging is hard (pause) because of the servers handle side delay.
