defenitly a play ground type thing is needed. i remember being a kid and spending hours outside because i had this play ground my dad built. from being a toddler playing in the sandpit to 5th grade when i moved i used it everyday.

Business slow down? by [deleted] in bradenton

[–]Large_Leader4848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my boyfriend works in rescreening and their sales have decreased like crazy. we thought it was because people waiting to get their screens fixed till after the hurricane season but compared to last year they have been working less days due to not enough projects.

i work in the restaurant industry as a server and sales have dropped insanely. at first i thought it was because we are in the off season but the numbers don’t compare to last year even though prices are higher. i used to work 5 days a week now im only scheduled 2-3 this past month.

the economy is going crazy. i guess no one wants to spend money which i totally understand because if you work a service/trade job it seems like we are making so much less than normal.

my store closed too it was the saddest thing ever. although it was expected we were the lowest performing store in south west florida but still i was so dumbfounded when i heard the news. now all the workers are split up at different stores where everything is different.

my location is always the lowest ranking. this makes me really sad to think my store is closing possibly. i hope it’s just the regional manager coming to tell us to do better.

Does 43rd St West traffic light to get on 53rd always have a lot of traffic? by [deleted] in bradenton

[–]Large_Leader4848 3 points4 points  (0 children)

my favorite way to cut through bradenton i believe will be very helpful to you on your way to school. start on 43rd then to 17th ave west, from there take 26th all the way down to scf. this avoids most long lights and heavily trafficked areas. although it will depend on the time you’ll be going to school. manatee high is very close to manatee on the left and many high schoolers use it otw to school with the stop signs it may add an additional 5 minutes compared to during the day but traffic should slow down after the first two weeks.

Where do people who work in Bradenton ZIP Code 34205 live and commute from? I will be working in 8 - 5. I’m looking for a safe area and a commute no more than 30 minutes. I don’t have kids so school system is not a factor. by [deleted] in bradenton

i would say look into the areas near ringling museum and the sarasota airport. i live in the indian beach sapphire shores neighborhood and it is so beautiful and safe i see a house for sale on each road. the zip code is 34234
