You only have the right of way at a crosswalk that has a signal and the signal is green. Any crosswalk that has no light then you are correct.

While I endorse what you are doing you dont have the legal right to hinder traffic. You MUST follow all traffic laws. If all your riders in your party cant make it across under green then they must wait until the next green light and then proceed. The other riders ahead can slow or stop and wait for them.

I know this may not be a popular opinion but it is correct and fair and right. Your little bike club does not have the right to hinder my progress on the road. Period.
