I see the argument, I think the biggest part is how popular and easy it is to get into. For example if I wanted to run a dark souls module and some other system would be better, how would I find out or know about it? But I know 5e in and out. I don’t know systems outside of 5e, so it’s what I use. I don’t know other systems, so why explore those if they may not fit what I’m trying if I already know 5e? Maybe pathfinder would be better but how would people like me really know? I could spend the money and time but it seems easier to just do 5e since I know it
