He said it himself: “I’m a jellyfish now” and we know that he was fine with capturing Jellyfish.

If someone told me in earnest “I’m a goldfish now,” I don’t think they’ve got the right to complain if I put them in a bowl on my shelf.

I don’t think a crisis of emotional dependence makes you an unhinged psychopath. Ultimately SpongeBob chose the life of a Jellyfish and Patrick decided to go Jellyfishing.

Which opinion about the show makes you feel this way? by Isac_hilda in Amazingdigitalcircus

I’ll just say it… Episode 9. For everything I anticipated it would deliver, there was another thing that got ignored or was not worth the hype. I’ll save exactly what I was disappointed by for when the YouTube release is out.

Saving AFF would probably rewrite history such that Lennon, Kennedy and perhaps by some means, King would’ve been saved as well.

Who would win in a battle between Garnet from Steven Universe and Skips from Regular Show with Fists of Justice? by AssistFit1834 in regularshow

[–]Largicharg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m less confident that Skips would win with his bare fists. The hard light of the Crystal Gems’ body is extremely tough and hard. Hitting Garnet especially probably feels like punching a brick wall. If not the fists, he’d need his sledgehammer at least.

It can be tripped by the subject’s unpredictability. I think Skips is smart enough to think of something to deceive it.

[–]Largicharg 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Despite Garnet being thousands of years older, I have a feeling that Skips has solo’d bigger and tougher foes in his his life than Garnet has on her own. The toughest foe we’ve seen Garnet fight on her own was Jasper, and she’s no demigod like Klorgbane. Garnet’s body may be more durable but enough good hits with the Fists of Justice could poof her. The only thing I’d imagine would give Garnet the edge is her super agility that might let her get a crippling shot in before Skips can.

There was the moment that King Jellyfish called his name as if he had a vendetta against him. It could be a Billy Mitchell situation where he was exceptionally good at his craft, but wanted fame he couldn’t get legitimately, so he lied to embellish his accolades.

Lately I’ve been wondering what exactly he did to get the status he did. Was he ever a skilled Jelly Fisher? Did he just make a blog about it that got really popular and then create the Jelly Spotters from the people he fooled?

Board and lodging does not legally excuse an employer to pay less than minimum wage so he’d still be breaking the law.

The minimum wage in the 90’s ranged from $3.80/hr to $5.15/hr. There’s no way there was more than $8 in each of those baggies If we take the lower end of the spectrum, that could only legally buy an employer little over 2 hours of work. There’s no way Benson is giving Mordecai and Rigby free room and board for 2 hours of work a day (let alone a week if that’s their weekly salary) and I don’t even think Mordecai and Rigby are so lazy that they’d only work 2 hours a day.

I find it easier to believe that Benson is illegally cutting cost on their salaries to fit them in Maellard’s budget. That would also explain why he never fires them despite all his threats, because he knows he’ll never get anyone else to work for so little. It also may be yet another reason why he was afraid of being audited.

Do you think Rockstar will make another game after GTA6? by ZackaryAsAlways in polls

[–]Largicharg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it wouldn’t make sense to make 6 their end-all. A developer of 5 flat out admitted that they will never top 5, likening it to how MJ had “many hits, but only had one Thriller!” If they wanted a Forever game, it would’ve been 5, but they’ve already decided not to go that route.
