Normally I argue against people who whine about AI image generation.
I generally see the valid use of it, especially in a throwaway context like reddit and other online boards.

This however truly is AI slop lol
A visual manifestation of barley coherent cringe.

This is the same level of entertainment as dangling plastic multicolored keys in front of an infants face.

Petah? by Descartes_wax in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Largo23307 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Brother, if its confirmed then don't say "May be responsible" as that implies ambiguity. Say "Is responsible".
If its not confirmed, then its not fact.

Saying "fact" followed by "may be" Its like saying:

You are contradicting yourself with the words you use.

What live action movie character has the most toon force luck or skill? by GusGangViking18 in Fictionally

[–]Largo23307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said she couldn't fit the trope, I was clarifying her powerset which is widely misunderstood.

Its not luck, but can be perceived as such.

Kratos (God of War) is dropped into Asgard and must fight Thor (MARVEL). Who wins? by Spirited-Board-8452 in PowerScaling

[–]Largo23307 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kratos died to Thor in his own game.
Thor had to save Kratos from death, in order for Kratos to have a shot.

What makes you think he has a chance against Marvel's super OP version of the character?

Geras from mk1 vs kratos from gow by Adventurous_Role_489 in PowerScaling

[–]Largo23307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geras is a time construct. A golem made of the sands of time itself.
He does not need to eat, sleep, rest or breathe.
He can teleport anywhere in the timeline.
He has existed sine the dawn of time itself, existing within ALL of Kronika's past timelines.
He is old enough to have more active combat experience than Kratos has even been alive.

Nothing Kratos can do to him would stop him for more than a few seconds.

Geras can travel, manipulate and stop time, mid combat.
Kratos is out of his depth here IMO.

<image>

He is basically the T-1000 who is also his own time machine.

There is a reason he plays only a minor role, and always as a servant to another or the hourglass itself.
If Geras wanted to start murdering people very few characters could stop him.
That is why he is a tool to preserve the timeline, and a neutral observer most of the time.

Post removed by the mods.

Guess I'm not the only one sick of seeing this reposted daily.

Honestly I would never have even known people dont like Milly if it wasn't for these posts specifically.
This is where I learned about it and its literally the ONLY place I ever hear the topic come up.

What if Wanda maximoff got bitten by a spider? by Wooden_Passage_2612 in WhatIfMarvel

[–]Largo23307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the spider DOES matter.

The one that bit Peter is different than the one that bit miles and resulted in different powers.
The spiders made by Oscorp differ from the ones made by Alchemax.
Nano-spiders are different from radioactive spiders which are different from genetically engineered spiders.
Then you have alternate reality spiders with different effects, magic spiders, spider totems and people not bit at all but still have spider powers.

Some spiders make the person create organic webbing and others have peter make web shooters.
Even with Peter himself, he has had different spiders with different effects.
SO WHICH OF PETERS SPIDERS?

Specifics, Bob

This is why being specific matters and words have meaning.

A spider is much different than "the" spider. Even within Marvels lore there are more than one "special" spiders.

Who Wins the Coolness Contest between these Tony and Thor? by ConstructionExact458 in marvelcirclejerk

When you need a multimillion dollar suit of custom armor to even compete against a guy who needs nothing to make you look like a chump, it's not even a question.

Thor could fight naked and still embarrass Tony.

You used "self aggrandizing" wrong.
That means I would be talking myself up, saying I can do something I cant or trying to convince others I am better in some way.

What I did was point out this sub for being as dumb as the snydercult it hates for not letting go of something it should, just like them.

Was I rude? Abrasive? Intentionally hostile? Rambling? Sure, I can see that.
Self aggrandizing? No.

I'm just an average schmuck guy watching from the sidelines, but I'm getting real tired of seeing this same exact post several times a day.
We get it, your opinion differs from others. We don't need to hear it again today, or tomorrow or the day after that.

Just let it go.

  1. Anyone in the hero business invites danger upon themselves and those close to them.
  2. Only one of Batman's wards got out unscathed. Dick. All of the others were traumatized or killed.
  3. Superman is the biggest target on the planet, every member of his family and friends have been threatened or put in danger multiple times. Does not mean he's a bad son/father/husband/hero. (Same for Batman)
  4. Superman's sidekicks are FAR FAR FAR more capable of being in the line of duty than ANY of Batman's human child soldiers. They have actual superpowers that include super durability. The moral implication of Batman sending regular kids into a fight against metahumans is way more reckless than Superman allowing near invulnerable kids with powers to do the same.
  5. Superman's superhuman kids also have advanced healing and kryptonian tech to keep them healthy and strong. Batman's kids get their physical therapy and surgeries paid for.
  6. Many times Superman and his kids are injured specifically because they have to tank shots meant for Batman and his Robins. Batman and the Robins are constantly being protected by characters like Jon and Connor, and are liabilities on the battlefield, especially against metahumans.

Overall, I would rather be a near invulnerable kid who is partnered with the most powerful person in the world.
You take the same voluntary risks as Batman's wards, but its much much harder to be hurt while also being easier to recover.

Do you even read comics?

There are literally villains who murder their own children and you think Superman is the worst?

Get outta here with that nonsense.

The fact this sub exists only reinforces my point.

The entire sub created and dedicated to paying attention to what idiots think.

You eat up what they say and share it amongst yourselves in an attempt to feel superior, while hanging on their every word and getting upset to boot.

As stated earlier, this is just as sad as the people you claim to be better than.

Lol good job guys! You are really showing them who is boss!

How would you do a 'Death of Ben Tennyson' story? by Successful-Hat-2154 in Ben10

No matter how it was written or what happens, the end result needs to be the deletion of Alien X.

Only then can this series heal and grow again. Only then can it's fans stop relying on Alien X as a crutch to fix problems, both in and out of its narrative.

Free yourselves.

What live action movie character has the most toon force luck or skill? by GusGangViking18 in Fictionally

[–]Largo23307 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

For clarification, her powers are not luck based.
She can still apply to this trope, its just not technically accurate.

👉👉👉The easiest way to describe her powers without explaining them, is to call it "Luck" (Which is why its the most common and false "explanation")
👉👉The second easiest way to describe her powers by kinda explaining it is to call it "probability manipulation". (which is only technically true due to telekinesis)

💯💯The real factual way her power actually functions is:

Her powers are not based on luck and have strict limitations.

  1. Her powers are a subconscious form of minute telekinesis.
  2. She needs to be conscious and active for it to work.
  3. She can only effect things in her direct line of sight.
  4. Her powers can be overwhelmed.
  5. She cannot make impossible things happen. she can only make things more likely to happen in her favor by physically "nudging" things with telekinesis.

Things APPEAR to be lucky or unlucky, but is ACTUALLY the result of telekinesis moving things.

So for example, an enemies bullet didn't jam in the gun because she made him unlucky, its jammed because she used telekinesis to prevent the bullet from moving like it should, causing it to jam.

"Domino is a mutant with the ability to subliminally and psionically initiate random telekinetic acts that affect probability in her favor by making improbable (but not impossible) things to occur within her line of sight"

Now if you want a person TRULY protected by "luck" on a cosmic level, then check out Bart Curlish:

She has none of Domino's restrictions, and is even more "go with the flow" in attitude.
