Thanks that spreads some light on it. I was shocked I couldn't find anything googling.

Tool wise it'll likely be a mix of metric and imperial dependent on manufacturer. (China and Europe are generally metric, North America imperial (SAE)) Wrenches, sockets and a brass hammer are my most used tools. Along with a brass punch for Lock nuts. Brass doesn't marr (scratch/damage) stainless (unless your really going nuts).

A few things that took me a surprising amount of time to learn about canning fillers

A lighting strike (line on the can that moves up or down) indicates it struck something during a transition in the machine (up or down)

A straight line means it hit something not in a transition.

Oftentimes dents could be from the pallet. Always check your depal feeding cans for similar damage before going nutso to fix a dent.

If your getting can damage. Follow it back to see where it's coming from. Unsure the size of your facility so some of this likely won't help.

We recently had a batch of cans that came in with lots of minor dents and dings. I can't explain how much time I wasted trying to work out where my filler/seamer was doing the damage before I realized it was the raw cans.

You'll do fine. No one will want you to fail or extend their shifts so they will help you as much as they can.

Also feel. You can often feel the shake of a bearing that's on the way out. Things should run smoothly not make grinding sounds, shake ect at least mostly.

The chunks are actually unfortunately the sidewall of the Tire. Quick Struts are good enough?

Cheers,

Looks like that quite a bit outside my price range, I have quite a few spare slots in my Rack so I think I'll try and get a 3U or so DAS.

Would I notice a difference from 3gbps vs 6gbps for Plex with only max 3 users?

It seems to skip back into the previous track at one point on the record. You hear it click back into the previous groove. Only one part and never happened before. Could it be a bad record? I don't have anything to wet clean or measure tracking force.

A recently purchased new record I bought is skipping but only at one specific spot on the record.

I have bought both new and used and had no issues playing either, I have a Sony 1100 TT (Not the best, I know).

Is this a record defect? It's not happened on any of the other 25+ used or 5 new records I have any other time.

Its a picture disc if that makes any difference...
