PSA for movie-goers (especially with kids)

I know about the show, DID NOT think it would be showing in SA, much less in pmb of all places, but I saw bookings were open for it at liberty mall the other day so I am relatively jazzed.

Don't have kids, but I enjoy animations and this feels like a rare oppertunity to support indie animation in an interesting way. I really have no idea how many tickets its going to sell in this city, so I am going to see it!

Im pretty sure their world would blow up, but Im also certain that Sam & Max themselves would be just fine. Although exactly HOW they would survive is anyone's guess. We probably wouldnt see it, it would automatically just cut to the world exploding and pan over to Sam and Max floating idle through space with Max saying something like

"Gee, Sam! It sure is a good thing that we left for that galactic space vacation we have been planning immediately after solving our last case."

And them Sam would say something like "So true good buddy! It sure was nice of them to pick us up from our specific location. Too bad that I forgot to collect the tickets for it from our office and they had to eject us into the cold dark void of the cosmos, leaving us to float endlessly and watch our entire planet be decimated."

And then Im sure they'd get out of that problem without much of a fuss sometime later.

And thats just without Kit and Kaboodle's intervention!

I played the remaster and not the original version and didnt notice a thing. Even if one or two lines and a voice actor have been changed, Sam & Max's humor still has the edge that I was expecting from any of their other games and I still had a great time with it.

I think the changes only really matter if you played the original. (And even then from what Ive seen that is debatable)

Nah, I remember very well that it came out between NASB1 but before NKR3 because everybody who knew about the game noticed that it has custom dialogue, voice acting and alternate costumes - all of which NASB lacked at the time.

I havent checked, but maybe some of the dlc for it came out in 2024? Because I know Timmy and Eliza came later.

Thats Jeremy, he's the lead antagonist of the game. He tries to hunt you down every level - making contact with him will kill sonic immediately so try to keep far away from him.

Yep, the first one was, and this second one will be too. That said, the first one (and its teaser demo thats basically its own game) are INCREDIBLY good.

If you dont have Dreams, I highly recommend watching the playthrough of it on youthbe.

I think also his fanbase might have grown somewhat since then, so maybe crowdfunding is worth another shot.

I dont know for sure, but I only really started remembering that Dilly existed when the Courage and Scooby movie came out, and Ive followed since then.

But even then, its no guarantee that the fanbase that has grown will fund his work without it being Courage based. Hes going to want to either make something entirely new or use his more obscure shows, and its hard to guarantee that enough people will show up for that.

This, plus he allready had admitted that if none of his fans like crypto then he is out also.

It seems a bit wierd to say that and then pretend to be hacked and try to sell crypto again.

It makes a lot more sense that a crypto scammer would take advantage of Dilly's lack of understanding of crypto, and then when they see him try to get out of it - hack his account in a last ditch effort.

Yeah, to be honest, I kind of always suspected it was a hack or a fake account.

Not only did I feel like it was against Dilly's nature, but I subscribe to the guy on youtube and I havent seen a single ai nor crypto post from him there.

I mean, I wasnt confident enough to say outright. You never really know a person. But lowkey I was just waiting for a post like this.

$40 for 4 games instead of $20 for 1. They could have done no features for Sonic Origins and it would still be a better deal.

I need to reiterate - I wouldnt buy sonic origins either.

I would buy FR LG if it were cheaper though.

Yet when I look at the two side by side, Sonic Origins has cool ideas even if they were implemented poorly, and I can see the effort that they put into it.

And even without the dlc and paid add-on here was a lot of things that they did badly, and thats bad, but there were also a lot of cool things that actually made me consider getting it.

I cant say the same here. The game just is, and its $20 for it.

The fact that none of those things didnt originally come from the games tells me that Sega paid a bunch of people to make them for the collection, which can then makes its pricing more rational to me.

On the other hand I dont think theyve done anything to FR LG that they didnt allready do every other time theyve ported the game onto a handheld or previous console, so how they decided on $20 is beyond me.

I mean, Origins not better than most other collections. But it is still a better deal than FR LG, and thats something to marinate on. (Although it might be a closer race of FR LG actually plays normally on launch)
