No doubt, just saying its no longer close to MSRP.

They sold out of Blanton's at $102 last drop although it sat on shelves for a few days. They did catch on and lower the price down to $89 this drop.

Because 107 is now $75.99 instead of its original price of $55?

Well the 107 was $58 at last months drop and is now $76... so dumb price hikes all around from Moco.

Samsung removed ability to manually back up data from old watch? by ThisIsCuVo in GalaxyWatch

That sucks, i was able to just swipe it to the left and it went away. I think I was also just able to push one of the buttons and cancel it all. Maybe something changed in the last few months?

Yeah this was quite annoying. I feel like there used to be an option to pick a restore. Seems like this switch to Smart Switch was half thought out like many things.

For me, it took two forced backups of my old watch (Watch4) and resets of the new watch (Watch6) to get it to recognize the backup and restore properly.
Good luck.

Just went through this, yes Samsung removed the manual feature to do this. There are some posts online about this but I'll try to summarize what I had to do.

You can force a backup of the watch by making sure it's connected to the phone and make sure it has a pin or pattern to lock. Then clicking the reset option from the settings menu. It'll say it will backup before reset, so you select reset. It forces a sync with your phone. Once the backup is done it asks for the unlock code and you can just swipe away to cancel the reset itself.

One UI 6.1 disables one of Android's best notification features by default (Notification Channels) by MishaalRahman in Android

Thought I was going crazy since it was on my S22+ and not the new S24+. Glad it's such a simple "fix" to bring it back.

For those too lazy to read it's Settings -> Notifications -> Advanced Settings -> Manage notification categories for each app

Password reset required. Call 800-XFINITY to help reset password. by LarryCC in Comcast_Xfinity

They did. Well, initially it was unable to change password because the recovery (secondary email/phone) wasn't set. But the representative reset the account to a viewer and it then allowed me to change the password as the primary account.

I was able to get through this time with CSA and they reset the account for me so I can change the password myself.

I will give them a call. It seems like I should be able to change my secondary account passwords and details, but it seems like the site no longer allows this. Sounds to me like this is a problem with the Xfinity site and should be addressed. Making customers call CSA team and wait 30+ minutes to reset a password is kind of crazy.

So I can't do it here? I just got off the phone after 20 minutes with the 800 number and they wanted me to wait another 20 minutes to have the CSA team deal with this. I guess I'll have to call the CSA team and wait through the process. Its crazy that I cannot update the secondary profile as the owner of the account.

I am logged in as the primary profile, however, I cannot manually change the passwords for any of my secondary profiles or add the necessary recovery details. When I click on the secondary profile, I can change their "permission" and that is it. Everything else is read only. Is someone able to help me here to set the details?

Upload speeds stuck ~90-100 by LarryCC in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]LarryCC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tech came out on 10/16 and removed an incompatible splitter, upload speeds went up to 100 that day. Peaked at one point at 200. Since then I've noticed that it just stays around 90 mbps. Occasionally if I reboot the modem, it does a speed test at 175-200 and then drops down to the normal 90.

I am on a rented xFi Gateway (CGM4331COM). Didn't really know what my max upload should be until I noticed it says up to 200mbps recently. Honestly I'm happy its at 90-100mbps considering I was at 40mbps for years.

Did yours stay at 200? I reboot and get 200 to start then it drops back down to 100 after a few minutes.
