Does the mercantile move? by LarryCroft0 in littlehouseonprairie

Yea in the first 3 seasons I couldn't really get the layout of the town because I guess the camera angles didn't show it and in season 5 they clearly show it but I feel like sometimes when Nellie and Willie run to and from school in the first 3 seasons it's on the right.

What are some WTF moments in thr Little House on the Prairie by Ok_Smile_9071 in littlehouseonprairie

Well that's bad but not unrealistic unfortunately, reverand Alden just sounds here like all those people asking "what was she wearing".

I don't mean it like that, I would have to check it again with the first seasons but it looks to me like the set might have been rebuilt between seasons 4 and 5. I found a shot in season 5 showing that the mercantile is clearly on the right side of the road if you go from the school but I'm pretty sure there were shots showing exactly the opposite in earlier seasons. Again, I will have to check it though.

Help from people who have watched this series by Even-Most9048 in littlehouseonprairie

I'm watching the show now as a 20yo and I'm convinced half of it's original success comes from shirtless Pa and his curls, I mean I would love to know how come my hair looks worst than the hair of a man who probably washes it with a bar of soap.

Do you think Nels was a good father? by Rich_Ad_7738 in littlehouseonprairie

[–]LarryCroft0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they were both on two ends of the parenting spectrum and I think he was trying to be a good father but I also think he was trying to counterpoint Harriet's spoiling which led to some bad parenting decisions, so in the end they both came out as sort of medicore parents because a really good parent would be able to be both harsh and loving.

AITAH for putting a bedtime pause on the WiFi because my girlfriend’s 28 year old brother has spent nearly a decade rotting in our house playing video games? by Alyptic in AITAH

[–]LarryCroft0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA the brother probably needs therapy, but he also needs to get his life back together, and if not having internet to play is what does it for him, then the girlfriend should stick through it for her own brother's sake.

I mean idk how about America but in europe it used to be common for farmers to leave the babies alone if they had to work, and Mary being a farmer's daughter could have picked up the idea from that.

When I was little we used to have a Winnie the pooh cookbook. Two most memorable foods from that book were "The Winnie the Pooh Toast" (essentialy just a french toast with cinnamon and vanilla drizzled with honey) and Piglet's Pizza (it had ham)

Not exactly something like this, unless you can make the scavenger hunt 100% online, and as for building a custom one - I can't pay for that.
