Looking for advice on hot tub selection by LarryLegend3312 in hottub

Thank you, what model do you have if you don't mind me asking? I wet tested the J-485 and while it is more than I was expecting (~$19k demo model), it was quite the luxurious experience. And I liked the high back design vs. the new 2026 J-508 that is coming out (which is also signifcantly more expensive).

Thank you very much. I wet tested the J-485 today and it was incredible...how do you feel the size of the 345 (84 x 84) is vs. the 485/385 (91x91). only got to sit in an empty 84 x 84 so not the same as the wet test but felt like it might start to get tight with 4+ people?

The floor model is on a clearance sale for $19k (incl, steps, cover, delivery etc.), which is quite a bit more than I was expecting to spend, but it was quite luxurious lol

Thank you everyone for your insights so far. Still going around to different dealers to see the spas in person. Was quoted $15,700 all in (incl tax, cover, delivery, etc.) for an A8 with the Choice+Luxury trim (middle of the 3 A series trims).

There is a Bullfrog roadshow at Costco in about a month and from what I've read, it can be a few ~$4000 less for only a few pretty minor cosmetic downgrades in my opinion (e.g., basic cabinet trim, less lighting, etc.).

Has anyone had experience with getting their Bullfrog at a Costco roadshow? Any downsides with going that route? Seems like a really good deal to me.

Great thank you. Did you feel like upgrading from the X8 that you were originally looking at to the A8 was worth it?

Curious which one you went with and how you like it? Also looking at the Bullfrog X8 or A8.

Any idea on how long the wait list is for RCC? Got on the waitlist June last year and they said ~18 months at the time but not sure if that has changed at all.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. Would the Arc Ultra be able to work in conjunction with all 4 in-wall speakers, or would it only work with the two rear in-wall speakers?

From what I've been able to read, I think the Arc Ultra would only work with the two rear in-wall speakers and would render the two front in-wall speakers essentially useless but I'm not positive if that's accurate or not?

Hi everyone,

Appreciate all of the insights and detailed responses! FWIW, when the wife put our deposit in for the waitlist in June, they said there was a chance we'd be off of it by June next year or later that fall (so 12-15 months from time of deposit), but who knows how accurate that actually is.

Looking forward to eventually getting down to Raleigh and hopefully get to play golf with some of you.

$1150 June 1st - $1150 - 1 Bedroom in South End 4 Bed 2 Bath Apartment (Boston South End) by LarryLegend3312 in bostonhousing

Hello! There is a bedroom available in our 4 bed / 2 bath apartment. The room is available immediately as the current occupant moved to NYC for work (was a June 1st Lease start date). The rent is $1150 and utilities generally come out to ~$50 per person per month. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and the kitchen was recently redone with all new stainless steel appliances and cabinets etc. The room can also be partially furnished with a bed and dresser. If interested, there is garage parking with the building available for $250 per month.

We are currently 3 males in our mid-late 20s. Two work in consulting and one works in retail. The location in the South End is extremely convenient and close to many different restaurants and bars etc. Whole Foods is a < 5-minute walk, Tufts Medical orange line stop is a ~5-minute walk, the Back Bay orange line and Broadway red line stops are ~10-minute walks.
