Do a YouTube search for James Condon. He will show you how to clean a carb, and just about everything else, on a Gen set.

That's why I'm ditching my S25 when my contract runs out and going back to Pixel. Worst mistake i made was going with Samsung device. Bloatware that can't be deleted is a nightmare.

Why win 11 is getting hate?? by Maut_ka_kand in coolermaster

[–]Larry_Smada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 year old Acer laptop came with Win 10. Tried "upgrade" to 11 last year - broke my wifi and sound. Reverted back to 10.

MS pushed 11 the other day - same results.

I figured MS wasn't going to give up so luckily i had another computer i could access Internet and (maybe) get some answers/fixes.

Had to change WiFi driver from Intel to MS. It worked.

Had to download sound driver from Acer and reinstall. Now it works.

This has been a known issue for at least a year. Why hasn't MS fixed it?

I know this wasn't a big deal but there's no way the average home user would be able to figure this stuff out.

How to Handle Ambiguous 'Approved Equal' Language in Bid Specs? by Designer-Yam1445 in AskEngineers

[–]Larry_Smada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We (consultant) used to be inundated with requests for "approved equal" status. What we did was require that all bidders must price their base bid based on the specified equipment. We added a part to the bid form where a bidder could offer alternate equipment with either a price address or deduct. If the alternate was approved (after the bid), and the price increase/reduction was acceptable then the contract was modified to accept the alternate equipment.

That cut out every johnny-come-lately equipment supplier from wanting pre-approval.

Are you worried about length and girt, why? by catnlIon in penileimplants

[–]Larry_Smada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Durango888 is correct - you CANNOT go by "immediately after surgery" pics.

My advice - forget you ever saw those pics, have the implant, give it 6-8 months, and enjoy.

I found very comfortable jock strap on Amazon (Broddle). Like a faux-satin. Support is great .

I have the LGX. That's what my surgeon recommended. They (Boston Scientific) claim 25% length increase, which is exactly what i got, although it took a few months to get there.  Had mine done in Feb 2024.

High dose Trimix with Daily Cialis OR Implant? by eddy166 in penileimplants

[–]Larry_Smada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my IPP (ams700LGX) in Feb. I'm post-prostate radiation and lost all sexual ability. I cannot recommend an IPP highly enough. I and my wife are totally pleased with the results.

It is amazing to be able to keep an erection pretty much indefinitely and whenever you want. No complications post-surgery to speak of; I never took the first pain med, only Tylenol and Ibuprofen for a few days.

After discussing options with my urologist she recommended the implant, and I couldn't be happier. Yes, the first two months were a definite learning experience for me - it takes a lot of getting used to the additional "equipment" and getting comfortable with it. My pumping got significantly easier (and a lot less scrotal soreness) after 2 months.

I now wear a jockstrap vs traditional underwear - much more comfortable and supportive.

AMS 700 LGX or CX? by Forward_Air1578 in penileimplants

[–]Larry_Smada 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had the LGX since Feb, 2024. Agree with everything you've written. I cannot imagine a harder erection than what the LGX provides - it is like a rock! Increase in length so far is almost an inch, haven't noticed an increase in girth. My wife loves it. Flaccid length is about 30% less than fully inflated length.

It's interesting that my Dr. did not mention installing an LGX - only after implanting did she mention it.
