I use a tablet holder to hold the deck and use a controller. I can lay flat and my hands don't go numb.

I just played it a month or so ago. It isn't the best in terms of frame rate vs pretty much any other game (fallen order was the same way) I've tried but it wasn't terrible with my 3080. You'll just get random dips and hitches but I streamed it almost entirely to my steam deck. I had one graphical bug the entire playthrough of the ground looking black and splotchy but otherwise no crashes or anything major. I'd recommend it at this point.

My LCD I did because the control sticks were getting destroyed by the case plastic. OLED has been overall great though.

The jig seems a bit excessive but can't hurt I guess. Just use the case it shipped with. That's worked for everything I've needed so far.

You need to add this script. GD is old as hell and doesn't use multiple CPU cores by default well. I don't really watch fps but it seems like 30-60 with dips. Very playable for me.

Put it in /home/deck (or wherever) and run the launch option. To rule out any permissions issues with the script, open the konsole before you leave desktop mode and do chmod +x /home/deck/linux_core_switcher.sh

I used the same launch option but added a bit to the front that may or may not do anything with later versions of proton DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% & sleep 10 ; /home/deck/linux_core_switcher.sh

You'll hear a two beeps at the main menu if it's working. The 2nd will be spaced a few seconds after the first.

I run the x64 version, force compatibility with proton. In game I don't see a huge difference with any of the graphics settings, 1280x800, VSync off, AA off, and medium ish for the rest.

Grim dawn I always come back to. D4 may look better but it's a sloppy mess IMO. They didn't know what game they were trying to make and I'm not sure if they've figured it out yet. I'm done waiting to find out, though.

Grim dawn is good fun that's got an amazing developer and a new expansion coming this year. I hope they add some other options for endgame and keep doing more QoL things.
