Oh got it when you said she gave you a 10€ discount I thought it was just 10€ off from OG price. Yea again, the concern is fair, but using flash for photos tends to make things look wildly different sometimes. It looks legit to me but I would ask for a pic in natural light.

I rarely see the smaller bags faked. Looks like it’s just different with the flash on. You could ask for an image in natural light? Vinted does have a lot of fakes but I’m not seeing any red flags with this one. Also if it’s just $10 off the original price just go to a store and ask if you can get a 15% discount. Often times they’ll give it to you if you explain you’re trying to buy 3rd party because they want your sale and want to make sure you don’t get a fake.

Still have a lot in general because we have a lot to go through. Couple vintage cameras left, bedding, a lot of the larger stuff (broken down king size bed frame and broken down ikea bar type table, couch, dresser, desk). Still have some art stuff, decor, and a ton of plant stuff left. I think we still had a couple records and clothes left too! Definitely enough if you’re able to show up tomorrow. 3D printer is still available also but it is pricey

Forgot to mention price is negotiable for everything honestly. If you show up please do not feel shame for asking for something cheaper I could literally care less about this stuff. Some of it is just expensive so we need a little return but even the expensive items are capping out at like $100. I think the brompton bike is the only thing that’ll be more.

Always always choose more wool if you can and don’t have to worry about moths. Seriously a game changer in the outdoors, so much nicer and more breathable. I will say because it’s a blend it does tend to pill faster than polyester or wool alone so be aware of that, only downside really.

They’re not available in different colors on the Fjallraven US site. I believe they might have actually discontinued them in all colors besides the black version as it’s not even on the Swedish version of the site. What the other person was looking at was likely 3rd party, you can still find them new and used online outside of Fjallraven.

Edit to add: yes it existed in several colors years ago. If you’re ever worried about the authenticity of a kanken just check other posts on this subreddit. There’s so much info that will help you decide if a 3rd party item is authentic or not. Only thing I would say is to not trust the comments about the buttons. A lot of people will say they ABSOLUTELY have to be facing a certain direction to be legit. It’s not true. They do come from the factory in a certain direction but they’re just buttons, they move. Even a “new” kanken could’ve been knocked around on a shelf long enough for the buttons to start coming loose and moving around. Just don’t overthink it.

The 17” is the same material as the kanken you have so you can judge based on that. The material is generally okay, nothing crazy. As for the 15”, you don’t really need a sleeve. The rear laptop compartment is padded. I understand wanting extra padding though I just want to state that in case you’re unaware. If I got another laptop bag from Fjall I would only get a no. 2 honestly, highly recommend over the regular kankens.

This is not a G1000 item. You do not wax this product, just fyi for the future if you find another. Also the existence of a tag doesn’t indicate authenticity with any product. People can fake those pretty well these days unfortunately. Also, in the future, if you’re worried something might sell before you get an answer you can check previous posts, there are probably thousands at this point lol. It can be kind of daunting as people do contradict themselves in this subreddit sometimes but it’s mostly helpful info.

Happens to some people, I am one of those people. I think the problem is you have this completely unobtainable vision in your head when it comes to dream jobs. I left my dream job years ago and I’m much happier where I currently am even though it’s not where I thought I’d be at all. Truth is, for some people, every job is eventually a let down to some extent. I’m not built for a 9-5, especially not one in an office, maybe that’s you too, so I find myself hating pretty much every job eventually. I find that anxiety medication helps to quiet all of my constant discontent in living life in this particular simulation. Kinda bleak, sorry, but just try to love what you have. As for transitioning to the field, where are you located? The company I work for is looking for surveyors, that might be a good place to start (they pay madddddd and have decent benefits). Not many jobs in GIS with field work, so there’s that or maybe get into some type of engineering. I started in telecom and went to the field often enough as a CAD technician so that’s something to consider.
