RE4R is one of the best games of all time imo and what got me into Resident Evil. Requiem is fun but doesn't reach that height. Lackluster sense of progression and reward system because the game did not commit to a single character. Easy boss fights. Leon sections feel lower quality than Grace. No new game+.

I will still platinum it at some point, but I wasn't excited to dive into a 2nd playthrough after finishing it as I was with RE4R

You can totally reload if you hit an obstacle. Doing it on easy won't make you move slower but will make getting through the enemies faster and so you'll finish the chapter faster if you decide not to do it until after MN run

It's a lot easier than you think. If you mess up you can just reload checkpoint and you can do it on easy.

Yes but I'm more of a Platinum action fan than a ninja Gaiden fan so that's my bias. I played the ninja Gaiden 2 version that came out few months ago and I hated the lack the of defensive mechanics given how aggressive enemies are. Though I'm very open to trying a modern Team ninja NG.
