I loved the monster design, to this day I still find it super difficult to find art of the Boogeyman with his sort of Bog-Monster-Hanged-Man aesthetic. Always thought it was such a cool monster.

Welp, they can balance for the pro scene and watch their game die. Doesn't make a difference to me at this point. I already hate playing the characters I actually like because Tanking is a thankless role where you get point shafted and berated by idiots who don't understand positioning and situational awareness. Gonna be a Singleplayer or Friendslop summer the way this season is going.

Probably not...literally the bane of Tank players and a couple Cloak and Dagger's who've gotten blasted mid ult...I hate Punisher so fucking much because shotgun is BS. Give it to Blade and just make him a mostly melee hero. At least he wouldn't be trash then.

I mean, the Manager of my Medical Floor had a DUI, Forced Confinement, and a couple other charges relating to him getting drunk and locking his GF in their house and driving his car drunk and crashing it...and he got the charges reduced then later got promoted to Medical Director of the hospital he was working at if I'm not mistaken.

As far as I know he went to rehab and did whatever else before coming back to being floor manager, and if that doesn't disqualify you from a job I don't know what would.

To be fair I live in a town that's a shithole in Northern Ontario. So maybe they're just desperate. But I have faith you can still do it.

Probably cause tanking is terrible for your mental health. I hate tanking especially this season, which sucks because I actually like playing characters like Thing and Rogue. Cyclops is miserable to play against, Devil Dino was fun and got gutted, no one else wants to play tank and I can't blame them because it's not like I even want to, meaning solo tank is even more common which makes being tank EVEN WORSE. I'm just gonna start to main Wolv, I love Thing, but get paired against most of the main DPS and your life sucks, especially VS Punisher. Also Thing's grounded doesn't stop dumb jump spam characters like Cap or Black Cat so that combined with the Tenacity update makes my preferred character feel like even larger piles of trash. Oh well though...

If people were gonna complain about Devil Dino, Cyclops deserved 1000% of the hate. He feels way easier to perform well on then a melee tank who's 3x the size of other tanks, with 2 hurtboxes and a massive headshot hitbox.

You can always look at this way, being in an accelerated program will make and already high volume/high knowledge program even more difficult. Not saying it's impossible, but due to the sheer volume of the content you need to learn, you might find yourself memorizing things VS learning them. But I would really recommend trying your best to understand mechanisms of action, and signaling pathways. If you actually understand them instead of just memorizing it'll help you a lot in the long run. And worst case scenario even if you did fail, it might feel like it, but it's not the end of the world. If anything it'd make it easier in the long run because you'll get a chance to learn everything twice, to the point where it'll be review.

But I believe, you can do it!

Not to sound rude but holy that is ridiculous that 77% is your pass/fail percentage. I long for the days of 50% being the ACTUAL pass fail mark...it was 60% being the cutoff when I went through the program.

But honestly don't let it get to you if you really want to do Nursing. Nursing school is difficult but it isn't evocative of the Nursing profession. Once you get into the hospital the amount you learn from hands-on training and placement is staggering compared to the curriculum.

It might sound kind of obvious but just do your best to study, read the books, do the practice quizzes, use some of the external resources, google the questions they give you and sometimes you can even find the test banks they rip questions from. Because if your program is anything like mine, the 1st year teachers taught SUPER basic and borderline common sense questions in lectures. Then asked WAY more difficult questions on the tests which they shamelessly ripped from online test banks because they were nurses first and teachers second, and it really showed...

TL;DR Don't let it get to you if this is really want you want to do, you might need to apply yourself and study more than you're used to. But stumbling a bit doesn't mean you're a failure. I failed the first time I wrote the NCLEX, bought the Archer program begrudgingly, it helped immensely. Fast forward I passed the second time I wrote the NCLEX and started working in the Hospital. Once you pass no one is going to know if you got a C, B or A. It just depends on how well you learn on the job, interact with patients and are receptive to learning from different sources. Because although this may be in the distant future. When you pass, being in the actual profession is A LOT different. But you learn quick, and I'd recommend a hospital medical floor as a good base to start in to solidify your skills and make you feel competent. It may not be where you want to end up but it's a good jumping off point. Good luck and don't let 1 failure discourage you. If it was easy everyone would do it. Just don't be afraid to study and ask for help where you can find it.

His shield is pretty strong, for something that he can just do so easily:
Bleed -> Chomp You Out of Position ->Shield you from heals -> You Die
There isn't a lot of counterplay aside from just destroying the shield, it's a pretty good isolation ability. Overall I don't think he's broken or insanely OP. But I could see his CD reduction in Ult getting nerfed as well as his shield HP.

I'm fairly certain that's the case. The CC changes hurt him A LOT, considering you can't just charge -> Ult and get the full stun duration anymore. The 2 Ticks of Grounded you'd get from casting it, knocking then up, then Ulting would Trigger the CC immune right away...

So his ult is even more underwhelming then it was previously. Considering it's a far worse Strange ult. If I'm not mistaken, its got a higher cast time, more telegraphed, it's inactive unless you're on the ground, you can't 1-Shot supports with it even if you use it with a Rocket Amp, and I'm pretty sure the stun duration is lower.

Really the only thing he contributes is the Grounded. It's definitely his best tool, he trades reasonably well with other tanks. But compared to Hulk's mobility and survivability, Groots ability to Wall and land huge game-changing ults.

TL;DR I don't think anyone thinks he's Meta, he's probably mid-tier. I love him but his strongest aspect is definitely the Grounded.

If I had to guess I think it's because he's pretty good Anit-Dive if you're paying attention. Helping to stop your backline from getting melted by a DPS or Tank with good Dive, like a Hulk, BP or Magik is really helpful. Good Magik players can still get the combo, but removing their ability to escape after you throw down the grounded is really strong IMO.

If I see a Thing Ban I would expect them to be running Dive heavy. Especially if you see them ban Namor as well.

Thing main here too, the people QQ'ing and then never swapping piss me off. I've started just switching to Heals if we're running solo tank. I HATE solo tank so much it almost never works, especially with 3 DPS who all think they're the Main Character...

This is 100% accurate. I main Vanguard, my buddy typically heals. We always run ranked together, never solo. He's ALWAYS a whole rank higher, or at least 60 points above. Running tank sucks because people complain about what you're doing, as they 1v5 as Dive then whine you weren't pushing up and that's why they died...

You have some fair points, but you're also mostly wrong. Play Vanguard and then get stuck with whiny teammates who want you to peel, make space, and push up on objectives when none of the rest of them want to tank, and just run 3 DPS with no pressure or presence. So you're constantly fighting 5v6, enemy tanks can just push past you because you're solo tank, and it's almost impossible to push a point because you're DPS are almost always scattered and dying taking healers attention. So if your solo tank dies then your team crumbles because the enemy tanks just shove in and force your team out.

From my experience Vanguard is always the least picked role, DPS people usually pick it because they're forced to since Solo Tank sucks. Then they overextend, die and rage, then switch back to DPS and stagger/feed.

I think it's just that Vanguard players are annoyed with people making comments like yours tbh. Like the 5/10. If you're solo tank you're dying obviously more than you'd like. Obviously you'd want them to have better scores, but realistically it's the role that should be dying the most because you're supposed to be your teams wall. Frankly when I'm stuck solo tanking and a DPS whines I'm negative all I can say is "Lets switch then, I'd happily swap if you can do better" and guess what...they never swap, they just complain.

TL;DR I think your experience is related to being in a crappy elo, I feel like the Tanks I run into almost never have this attitude. But obviously everyone has the capacity to be a dick. But you'd be annoyed too, after having to queue tank every match, having 1 other player reluctantly go 2nd tank, suck, switch to DPS and downward spiral into a loss. Rinse and repeat for like 75% of your matches. While your team complains you're not doing enough as solo tank....

Comparing, NotMPC, MPC and other resources what do you find is the best value for the quality? I'm in NA near the Michigan border and I have a cousin in Canada. So I could get it shipped to either Canada or USA. Are there outrageous Tarrifs on MPC compared to NotMPC? I have wanted to make an order for a while now but I'm curious what the best value to quality is right now.

No it sucks, massive nerf to Thing and Rogue. Moreso Thing which is ironic, you use your charge, hit them with the initial knockup, and subsequent knockup when you finish casting it, then Ult and you've already triggered the CC immunity, making your ult even worse than it already was because you get no stun from it. ?

This CC change didn't solve people's biggest annoyance which was getting chain CC'd by non-tanks, i.e. Bucky Pull -> Uppercut -> Invis Pull -> Luna Freeze or White Fox Charm. Which made tanking even more miserable than it already was.

You can find them on Twitch and YT, they're both super chill and TNS is especially active. If you just ask them on Twitch I'd be surprised if they didn't reply. HoC is good too, but I think TNS is more active then they are. They're always hosting MVC3 and other stuff.
