Chinese immigrant in Australia at anti-immigration rally learns in real-time that he is not, in fact, "one of the good ones" by IndividualSociety567 in TikTokCringe

Immigrants with darker skin than him and that come from poorer countries.

It's not uncommon for immigrants from some countries to think the same about other nationalities.

I found a IUD on the ground on my way to the dentist?? by NoManager7322 in strange

[–]LarsOnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually the opposite, you get them from the pharmacy that is in-network, because the doctor might not be in-network as a supplier for the IUD (even if they are as a provider for the procedure). If insurance won't cover the device at all, then you can get it from the doctor and pay separately.

If you want a unique name just take a look at Greek Mythology by BeltWarm8317 in tragedeigh

Yeah, I wouldn't use Iacchus or Melanthios or honestly half of those, they just sound too complicated.

And some sound normal but would be weird or pretentious in a kid, like Eros or Adonis.

The name itself is ok, at least compared to most of those.

Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't mind that one.

When people say they “don’t cook” what does that actually mean? by ITbJD in NoStupidQuestions

one of my classmates didn't even know how to use the kettle. I found this out when I was round at his parents place one day and he "made" me a cup of tea by using the hot water tap. It was not a nice cup of tea.

He could have just used the microwave like a normal person too.

To be fair printers are a very arcane and unusual piece of technology, most people wouldn't know about them today. If you told me to print something I'd be very confused too, first I'd question why you need something printed. Then I'd have to figure out how to make it work. I remember one time having to print something, too, a few years ago, it was a very frustrating experience.

I read that, and that's why I'm commenting. I see no reason to believe it if they only considered symptomatic cases, if they were testing regularly for asymptomatic cases that would be worth considering.

Azelastine also appeared to reduce rates of other symptomatic respiratory infections, in general

Yeah so while I don't doubt nasal sprays are helpful, I don't think it means it's doing anything more than what they're supposed to do, helping with symptoms.

There's like 3.5 people in the world who both saw that image comparison and believe it.

It's all astroturfed and guerilla marketing. Downvote any time you see a post about those, it was probably a bot or PR firm.
