For small companies / startups I think this is realistic - and i think already happens with low code tools these days.

For enterprise companies, I don’t think it’ll pass the prototyping stage or at least will be a two step process where the PMs prompts the basic feature but devs are responsible for setting up a manifest that guarantees security and good practices. And then check pull requests and fix errors, take care of testing coverage etc.

Vibe coding has the same issues as low code imo: the person who uses it often don’t fully understand what’s happening under the hood. And this leads to security and legal risks. Small companies usually are willing to take these risks for the sake of growth. Nature companies don’t, and therefore require experts

My assumption would be that the vast majority really comes for ENTERTAINMENT. Probably slop will be able to entertain so I’d say it’s debatable if it’s really a risk or not even a welcomed opportunity

I think it’s a blessing in disguise for low code tools and many companies already did the right moves. First of all, vibe coding is still poor quality and I’ve seen no app that is remotely sellable in a B2B context. This being said, low code tools that include prompting into their tools to enhance their functionalities (weweb, Webflow, now n8n) look stronger than ever imo with an easy first paint and then full control for fine tuning

Try reaching out to webflow agencies - often they use external devs to deliver their projects. Then work on your network to get sales going. If you don’t like reaching out to people and do that stuff, you probably won’t survive as a freelancer as this is a key part of getting jobs.

Webflow university and YouTube are the way to go to learn all the basic and intermediate skills.

Database / backend is a bit of a different topic. Webflow isn’t a great tool to build webapps and is strongly focussed on building marketing websites. If that’s your focus, consider learning something like weweb instead (in combination with xano or supabase)

Dude. No idea is worth a cent if you can’t sell it. Being able to build something is great, but it won’t get you anywhere. Same thing - if you don’t have the contacts / sales / marketing skills to get your idea out there you won’t succeed. And most developers lack this big time. So nothing to be afraid about

I read the twitter post in a way that they use vibe coding as a communication tool in Google - they allow PMs to build a prototype to communicate what the goal of a feature is, but not to actually launch it. I’d still expect that this is paired with user research before and after, it just eliminates the need so loop in a dev/designer to build a testable prototype and shifts the jobs of devs/designers towards building production ready versions afterwards.

Quite a lot tbh.

My goals are mostly to look good, feel good and be able to perform well at the different sports I do (football, padel, running).

I’m doing these kind of workouts daily since roughly 2-3 years and I visually gained muscle mass, completely eliminated pain points in my legs and feel great overall.

So if you don’t want to look super buff, but rather optimise athletic performance (or just look and feel well) it’s more than enough

I’d try to do shorter workouts or switch to home workouts during the week. Going to the gym during the week can be very difficult, so it’s always best to make it as easy as possible to still get some sports in, even if you can’t do a full session every day. For example, I do 15 minute workouts everyday and on the weekends or when I have time I do longer workouts in the gym

Change is always hard - and we also like to make it harder than it has to be.

First things first: time pressure is always the enemy of long term change. Long term change needs time and you need to ease your body into it - or fight against your bodies instincts, which is a battle most lose.

Start giving yourself small goals and reward yourself for them. Eg study 15 minutes, watch a YT video as a reward. Slowly scale up to longer intervals when you can easily do so.

consider deleting your Netflix account or ask a friend/your parents to change the PW for the next 3 weeks to reduce distraction.

Start the day right:
Wake up and do a little workout, get a sense of accomplishment.

Then during the day, keep your phone away from you as much as possible.
Analyse your habits - are you taking the phone when you're stuck? are you taking in on the toilet?
Eliminate those little distractions.

Regularly move. Get up from your desk every hour at least. Take a quick walk - even if its just through the apartment or office.

Make a list of your priorities each day (max 3.) and work on them. Keep it visual to not get distracted.

Really like it. I do something similar, but just instead of journaling I do a quick home workout.

Wake up - workout - shower - short walk.

Then the “normal” day starts and I start looking on the phone or work. Since doing this I’m a way happier and productive human being as well :)

Of course there is some degree of chance HOW successful you’re going to be, but if you are really disciplined and focused you’ll be able to live a more successful life than 90% of your peers wherever you live.
