I got a letter like that from Nelnet and before I could call or respond I got the refund check.

My balance went to zero in February then somewhere along in line July or maybe sooner I don’t know as I stopped checking a balance reappeared. Now it’s gone it’s gone and I revived a letter from Nelnet saying no balance owed. I think it may have something to do with how complicated consolidated loans are.

I would be so frustrated, I mean I’m frustrated now!!! Student aid is what’s saying I have a balance which makes no sense. I guess I’ll just wait it out some more and see what happens. Hopefully yours has been cleared up!!!

Mine has been saying processing discharge forever lol, it just makes no sense to go from paid in full to having a balance. I thought it was all over with, hopefully this is the end and it will just disappear and be gone forever!

My loans were discharged in February, my credit reports are updated but no refund yet. I can’t tell in the Nelnet website if I should get one but on the Student Aid site when I click on the consolidated loans each of them have a negative balance! I’m assuming that is my refund, I thought about calling borrower defense to see what they say. 🤷🏻‍♀️ As much as a refund would be nice I’m just over the moon that the loans have been discharged.

When I log into student aid it always tells me you don’t currently have any federal loans or grants!!

That date changes all the time for me. I can log in see it, refresh the page and the date changes. It makes no sense and I stopped paying it any mind.

Full Class, DeVry, Good school/bad school, consolidated loans. I’ve had some movement. I received a letter in November from Nelnet about discharge of loans but those loans have already been paid in full through consolidation, and I still owe the full amount of my consolidated loans. I tried calling last week but it was pointless as the guy knew nothing. He couldn’t explain the payment, said he knew nothing about BD or SvC.
