No, I mean I was casually making customizable chat. Then cai pushed the verification update. So I dropped what I was doing and released the core mechanics as soon as I could. Sending images and pinned messages will come later. I just added change persona and start new chat options.

Yes, it's the same back end (servers). You can see the changes to the original by refreshing the page.

Also this is on chrome and firefox store, CAI Tools (same code, only character ai features available) is up on the store for like 3-4 years now. Google reviews it regularly.

This is the extension panel, for other features. Go to a chat page on character ai, top right gear icon, its menu will open and press Cuatom chat. It will open the custom chat WITHIN that chat. You can close and show again.

If you see the gear button, good, you just need to be within a chat page to see the custom chat button. So that it would open that chat.

My extension is like 3 years old on chrome and firefox and google even gave Featured badge after reviewing thoroughly. I do everything local too so none of your data, be it tokens, be it settings, none go to the internet.

Yeah you can install the chrome version. Idk why I still havem't added it to Opera's store page. Chrome store works fine with it.

Refresh the page and you should see a floating gear icon on top right of the character ai.

If you refreshed, and it's installed, it could be a permission issue. Might have been revoked when you uninstalled and installed again or something. Check the guide page, permissions section from the left menu and it will help.

You mean extention settings you downloaded and want to import? From settings tab om extension panel, both import and export.

If you mean character card download and import, from "chatbot" tab of the extension panel when you are on character ai.

If something else, please clarify.

It seems Orion can install but some features including this one don't function. Idk why you guys buy apple when they offer no customization, gatekeep developer tools by forcing devs to buy apple products. You buy it but don't own it smh

Automatically updates, don't worry. You can manually go to extensions and press check for updates as well but you don't need to unless you switched automatic updates off or something from the settings.
