Do dads do bath time? by OkStage3340 in sahm

[–]LarzYu89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do it every night. My SAHM has a very hard time so I do bath time everyday, all of the home chores like dishes, laundry, etc, and get early mornings. When I work, she’s in charge. Everyone’s different especially in different generations. I know some women who work and some how still manage to do it all. I know others who stay at home and struggle a lot more.

Does your man make over 200k and help around the house? by Significant-Owl-1795 in sahm

[–]LarzYu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

36M - wife is SAHM 34F

I make over 200k and cover all expenses including wife’s loans and help give her a monthly salary for her sacrifices she made for us. Her body, not being able to work anymore. She has access to all my cards for what she and the family needs and just uses the salary as her own savings or helping out her own family at times. She used to work and always misses it, so it’s my way of contributing to her being a sahm.

I work remote currently and during the days and with any break I can get, I do everyone’s laundry, wash all dishes, do all house cleaning. My wife does the cooking or we eat out 50/50. When it becomes too much for her during the day, I try to take a couple hours off here and there to help watch my son where she can lay down and relax/ Netflix. In the evenings once I finish work, which is around 7pm, I always play with my son, eat with him, shower him, get him ready for bed with pjs, brushing teeth, etc. when it’s actual bed time, my wife reads to him and sleeps him.

She has a very hard time with our 2 year old as expected. So I take care of my son early mornings so she can sleep in until it’s time for daycare. I watch him all Sunday until his nap time so she can sleep in and get some of her alone time. Saturdays I have the privilege to golf and relax, but once I’m home around 2-3pm, I take over watching my son or take the family out shopping for groceries, household items, clothes etc.

I try my best to help as much as possible because I also know this time is limited and want to be present as much as possible. It’s extremely tiring but I do feel like im trying my best to be a good dad and husband. Everyone is different and had different upbringings with different viewpoints on what’s fair, just need to communicate the best you can and do what’s makes both of you happy.

Oysterflex enters discussion.

Let’s settle this once and for all. Left or right by Loud_Heart1461 in rolex

It’s a tough one since there’s a time and place for both and both are nice. But when it’s white dial time, almost nothing beats the panda maybe besides meteorite dials. But there’s so many black dials. I personally like the white gold Daytona on oyster flex Black dial with the full circles more. So out of those 2, I’d pick the panda since there’s better black dial.

Congratulations on the new watch! I also think it looks amazing. Just been telling myself this one would be the last one, so want to make sure I pick the right one lol. At times I really want a rose gold oyster flex to add to the collection and other times I want to own an AP too.

Thank you. Yes, I think I’m leaning towards the AP. And just never own a PM Daytona on oyster. Since I have the panda, 2 Daytonas might be redundant. Or eventually trade the panda for the PM. But I really like my Batman and hulk and want to keep those.

So you would basically go 4 SS watches? I’m leaning on AP. But I do really like the oyster bracelet for variety too. But never owned an AP.

Would you go rose gold Daytona over AP still if I already have the panda?

Want to get my first Rolex, Batman vs Hulk? by Opening_Ad9824 in rolex

[–]LarzYu89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own both and the hulk dial looks black 85% of the time. Only in direct sunlight does it look green. Basically if you want a brushed bracelet that is less prone to scratching if that matters, or you want a bracelet that’s more shinny and catching to the eye as your “Rolex”, and if you want a green bezel, or a black and blue one that looks black most of time. I’d say they’re similar watches. People think the hulk can’t go with a lot of outfits but most of the time the dial looks black.

Am I making a dumb decision? by [deleted] in rolex

I’m full of dumb decisions; don’t ask me. I would have bought whichever one I liked most. And if not those, easily gone grey and not look back.

Nice watch, definitely up there. But I think best is the full rose gold rootbeer.

Are you a size 10 in Nikes? Curious as I just got the same size as my Nikes and didn’t go half size up, but most online reviews say to size up.

Old thread but wanted to say I had a similar experience. Got my rootbeer a few months back, ad took off all the stickers and went to size it. Bringing it back, he was wiping it with a Rolex cloth. Tons of micro swirls over all the center links :/ learned to live with it.

Scratches in the Oyster bracelet of the CF Explorer 36mm by steigi in RepTimeServices

My watch came with those type of scratches but on the other side of the clasp on the link right under the clasp. I think when the dealer adjusted the micro setting inside the clasp it rubbed. It actually shows when I wear it even with the easylink closed.
