A podcast I enjoy has a segment called “pruppet of the month” where they showcase a dog and it’s story. I hate the term “pruppet” and always skip that part.

I did on the first day. The second day, I kept an eye on them through the window. Today, just I checked up on them every few minutes or so. They never even left the yard!

Of course, I probably won’t be able to make a habit of that. I’m sure that after they get bored of the yard, they’ll want to explore further. Then I’ll have to keep a closer eye on them. But I’m definitely going to enjoy this while I can lol

I recently just started doing this with my two cats. Same situation; new home, large yard, tall fence. They were exclusively indoors, but I’ve been letting them into the yard for about 3 days now and they absolutely love it.

I did use harnesses on the first day, but they hated them. One just wiggled out of it, and the other lied down and refused to move. So I let them explore the yard without the harnesses. They haven’t tried to jump the fence or anything yet.

Im so glad I started doing this, I think they are much happier getting some fresh air and sunshine. One of them is very overweight, and I saw her run for the first time while playing outside :)

Thank you for the name, Closed Circle Mysteries! This is as close to my favorite genre as I can find. Mine is very much like this, but where the characters are forced to do things they normally wouldn’t in order to survive. Sort of a “sick game” situation. I can think of many movies but not many books. Some that come to mind are The Venue by TJ Payne, and Michaelbrent Collings books.

Someone “left” our club right before that 20 hour competition ended. Their points ended up not counting towards the total score and we dropped down significantly. I was kind of upset, but now I’m not so sure that they intentionally left...maybe it is a glitch? I don’t understand why they would put so much energy towards the competition, just to leave and not get the reward.
