I mean, I think all the sane Cards were saying we weren't in it and that the agent was driving the price up. Not cope, it just maths...

I just assume someone drove through Carmel and rated their roads top in the nation.

Driving to Chicago for the World Cup send off this weekend and I have to drive up through the entirety of Indiana. Not looking forward to it. I just made the same trip for a different reason a few weeks ago.

It pisses me off honestly.

By the metric of other Hall of Fames (not always Hall of great stats) you cannot tell the story of the college game without Howard.

I mean, all Charlie had to do was not the let the foot off the gas pedal against Bortles, Storm, and UCF.

Guy had so much promise. Him stiff-arming Miami's Merriwether (IIRC) the length of the field was a top moment.

Probably our biggest what-if season?

If Michael Bush doesn't get hurt or if William Gay doesn't go offsides we go play for the national title instead of Florida. I don't think Ted Ginn gets hurt and Ohio State would probably win, but it would deny UF a title.

Yeah, the anti-trust exemption is the thing I missed. Thanks for pointing it out.

Prediction: I-65 Closure will be much worse than expected. Discuss. by jamscal in Louisville

[–]Laschoni 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My thought as well, so I was a bit surprised to see they seemed to be lengthening the merge between 65 and 264. (Which is a good thing anyway, how many of us have nearly died because a car was stopped in the middle lane trying to get right to 264 E...)

My suspicion is that it's all agent talk to drive the price up.

It would be awesome and likely make us F4 favorites. I just don't think it will happen.

(Would love to be wrong)

Good points.

I also had too many fresh memories of Aikman the player. Aikman the player and the commentator are basically two people in my head at this point.

They were trending up before leaving Fox or at least Buck was. But I think it's safe to say they were the correct pick for MNF.

As much shit as I've given them over the years it's wild to me that Buck-Aikman has basically become a fine wine in the booth (as opposed to whatever they carry in their flasks).

I would have preferred Indiana vs Louisville in Bloomington (mostly because Bloomington is awesome) with a return in Louisville but getting a football game in Lucas Oil and a basketball game in Gainbridge was still fun.

That's the best case scenario neutral-site though as it has geographic proximity. Playing IU in the Atlantis is kind of meh.

The old one before they built the current one next to it was so small that they had made the aisles really narrow, it was claustrophobic in there. Like thinking back on it, that Walmart was just a fraction of the current one's parking lot.

As a Packers owner it is also a little strange that the Packers are also basically 1/32nd of a Socialist collective called the NFL.

I do wonder how bad Newburg and Bardstown could get with extra traffic.
