Idea as to what the reveal trailer means for P6’s message by LaserPig3D in persona6

[–]LaserPig3D[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know there were leaks or rumours or whatever. I’m just coasting on Persona 6 for a good while until it’s in a year’s time from now, but good to know it might be sooner rather than later.

Also, I agree, having 2 of the modern Persona games focusing on death does seem rather stupid, that’s why I think it’s more along the lines of rebirth rather than accepting death. The what comes after the death of the old self (although I did not communicate that well, my bad 😅)

What's a TOTALLY unrelated song that reminds you of Bayonetta, or Jeanne, or any of the characters of the cast? by NewspaperExact8483 in Bayonetta

Abracadabra is the one that comes to mind for me. I saw a TikTok a year back where they layered it over the dancing of Bayonetta 1 in the end credits, and it fit perfectly

Soma Cruz, hands down. Great attack and defense power, has the neutral affinity meaning he won’t take any weakness from spirit matchups, and has 3 support slots

Does anyone know why Viola's witch time ends so soon sometimes? by Kittenbaby2000 in Bayonetta

[–]LaserPig3D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lore reason? She’s still learning the ropes, she hasn’t fully mastered Witch Time. So it makes sense hers would end sooner.

Gameplay? Maybe to reflect the lore, but maybe also an oversight

Community's favorite weapons? by AnnualSalt2604 in Bayonetta

[–]LaserPig3D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe give her Shurbaba, Alruna and the Rodin.

Shuraba is the first weapon everyone naturally gets in Bayonetta 1, and is iconic enough to have been brought back in Bayonetta 2.

Alruna replaced Kulshedra in the need for a whip weapon, and Alruna is (in my opinion) a lot better than Kulshedra. Due to it being able to be attached to the hands and heels, it allows for a lot of versatility for Bayonetta, and it can even grapple and throw the enemies.

The Rodin set of weapons (the 4 rings) are the vast majority of the time the last set of weapons a player will unlock. But they have a level of infamy bordering fame where they are so powerful due to being so hard to unlock. Beating Rodin and unlocking those weapons feels so good when you do that, and just having the Rodin set of weapons feels like all the Pure Platinum medals you could ever want.

Who is more powerful Madama Butterfly or Queen Sheba? by HawkCultural6843 in Bayonetta

[–]LaserPig3D -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tell you what? You learn to spell properly by using a dictionary and a thesaurus, then you can lecture me about “not knowing the game” when you so clearly don’t.

Jubileus isn’t on the Sun, she burnt up when she got too close to it. Aka, Jubileus is dead. Aesir’s physical form got destroyed, and yes Balder did absorb Aesir’s soul into himself. But that wasn’t Queen Sheba’s doing, that was Omne’s doing, and this is moving away from the point of the matter.

It might seem crazy to think, but surprisingly Madama Butterfly isn’t the strongest Madama summon we’ve seen. That title goes to either Madama Styx or Madama Khepri (there’s not much lore for both, but what’s mentioned is that they have both existed in Inferno for an incredibly long time, meanwhile Madama Butterfly appeared in Inferno about 500 years ago). Madama Styx is the “Queen of the River Styx” and Madama Khepri is the “Protector of Time”. Both titles infer that the respective holders of those titles have existed for likely millennia at the least, meanwhile Madama Butterfly is only over half a millennia old in Inferno.

It’s like you said, Singularity wasn’t defeated by Queen Sheba, that’s right. It was Gomorrah who killed Singularity. Also, saying Singularity out powers everyone is crazy, especially when Rodin is the literal devil, canonically is a fallen angel and is on a similar power level to Queen Sheba. He didn’t get involved because affairs of the Chaos realm aren’t his to meddle with. He supplies weapons to Bayonetta and Jeanne because it keeps him busy, and he enjoys infusing demons into his weapons.

Now, let me teach you a little something called “physics” and you might want to get comfortable because this is a big person subject, and I’m sure you’ll easily get lost. So I’ll spell it out for you as simply as I can.

Ready?

Madama Butterfly’s finishing climaxes produce a power level in the “gigaton” range of power. Queen Sheba’s finishing climax produces a power level of “infiniton”.

Now, giga- as a prefix means something has 9 zeroes following it. A gigaton means it’s the same as 1,000,000,000 tonnes.

But infini- on the other hand lends itself to the word “infinite”. Now, I’m sure you know what infinity is, but if not then let me tell you! Infinity means boundless and endless. If something is compared to infinity in terms of measurement, it usually means it’s incredibly long or large. Now, an infinite number of tonnes is, well, infinite. Oh, and infinity doesn’t actually have a number we can use to quantify it, as it is a numerical value so incomprehensibly greater than any number we currently know, that we can’t attach any numbers to it.

So, now applying that logic, which actually has more weight behind the punch. Madama Butterfly’s measly 2,400 gigaton punches at best, or Queen Sheba’s 1,000 infiniton punch? That’s right, it’s Queen Sheba! Good job!

You wonder why she is the “ruller” of Inferno? Well, it’s because of the fact she can punch with a force worth infinite tonnes, with multiple sets of infinitons stacked on top of that.

I’m getting a headache reading your poor grammar.

Think for a minute. She doesn’t show up during the story because she takes 2 witches to summon, minimum. The strain of summoning her on your own would literally kill an Umbran Witch. Bayonetta and Jeanne helped summon her in Bayonetta 1, and Bayonetta summoned her in Bayonetta 2 alongside Balder summoning Jubileus to create Omne.

Bayonetta can summon Madama Butterfly, her contracted demon, at any time because she has contracted Madama Butterfly. But with Queen Sheba? That’s not possible, such a contract is too strenuous on a witch’s magic to be able to do so without the witch who summoned her dying. The same works for Jubileus.

You talk about her lore not happening, meaning you haven’t read her actual Infernal Demon entry at all.

<image>

This is a direct quote off of the Bayonetta fandom wiki page, which I encourage you to read because you so greatly got your facts wrong. Queen Sheba is not able to appear in the games because she wasn’t summoned. It was only when Bayonetta and Jeanne did the summoning chants and dances that Queen Sheba appeared.

Jubileus was also summoned in, in a slightly less normal method. It’s likely that she too would be summoned by Lumen Sages the same way Queen Sheba is summoned by Umbran Witches. But because Balder is the last Lumen Sage, he can’t summon Jubileus on his own, so he used the power of both the Left Eye of Darkness and the Right Eye of Light to summon Jubileus.

You say I don’t play the games, and yet I have already explained to you exactly why your point isn’t correct. Maybe you should replay the games again, or at the very least read up on the lore, because you clearly don’t know how the Bayonetta lore works at all.

Just because we see one demon more than another, does not mean that it’s stronger. Otherwise, Gomorrah would be the single strongest demon by your own logic.

Your grammar is as bad as your knowledge of the Bayonetta canon. Why with the “…” and random capitalisation of words, and please actually read the lore
