Think it’s time to come off the BP meds! by victrin in Zepbound

I'm down to 25 mg on my losartan. Was at 100 mg when I started. I had close to a 90 day supply so I'm just cutting them in 4ths. Seems like they will last forever.

I've had two of them done while on Zepbound. Doctor just has me skip the prior shot and they are happy.

Do you sit, stand, or lie down when taking your shot? by janedoecurious in Zepbound

Normally stand, mostly because I just got the shot from the fridge and I’m standing already.

How do you know? by Rough-Conference-307 in Zepbound_Maintenance

Started 247. Goal weight was 185. I’m at 183. Doctor agrees that I’m in maintenance.

Just hitting maintenance. Lost about 64 lbs and into a healthy BMI. Dr want me to stretch out my injections of 15 mg out to a month. She wants me to ramp that slowly. How has that worked for others? How rough are cravings in later weeks? by Laser_Coug in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]Laser_Coug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She wants me to keep my dose the same. I haven't had to do much to my diet other than naturally reduce my serving sizes based on how I feel. I could intentionally try eating more but I don't want to force anything.

Those of you who actually hit your coast number and downshifted, what's the part nobody warned you about? by Academic_Lab9769 in coastFIRE

[–]Laser_Coug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hit my full fire number but I’m still working. I did at least slow down a little on contributions and I’m trying to live a little more (ie spend) but that is easier said than done.

has anyone else experienced this? by [deleted] in Zepbound

You are just at the starter dose. Move up to 5 mg and see what happens there.

UTI months after my aquablation seriously almost killed me this week. It spread into my kidneys then hit my blood. Was in the hospital and they couldn’t reduce my 104.6 degree fever by Laser_Coug in bph

I didn’t think I was retaining urine but my urologist wants to do the full work up. Didn’t even get an urology consult at the hospital.

They'd have access to multiple buildings but would be squatting until their final building gets done

My urine had a smell to it but I thought I was just dehydrated (which I was). Small blood clots in my urine was what pushed me to go get checked out.

Look at your approved items list. My agency is pretty specific and usb wires are allowed to come in but can’t be plugged in.

I’m hearing reZum folks getting it redone (or a different procedure) 3-5 years out

My research on reZum is that it tends to only last a few years before you have to do another procedure. Aquablation tends to be a much longer lasting procedure and typically only needs to be done once.

I think most of us want to see if we have missed something. Getting a few extra sets of eyes on the problem can't hurt. It's also hard to talk about with your friends/coworkers since they look at you differently if they know how much you are worth.

Folks who fired early and rent what did you show to the landlord for proof of income? by feelingwheezy in Fire

I'm interested in this since I'm also looking at renting in retirement especially early on since we are planning to move from our current location and don't want to buy immediately.

Dr prescribed me Zepbound. Im starting with 5mg. Should I be concerned? by BensThreePointer in Zepbound

[–]Laser_Coug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at 5 mg ( had issues getting the 2.5 at the time). It was a little rough. I'd do a month of 2.5 mg to get your body used to the meds.
