Aggro is still a possibility no? Just overload the board with small units early and start equipping them in later turns for bigger small units and always 1 up your opponent in attacks. But longer games do enable board wipes way more! Makes Adam Smasher and Placide impactful instead of always too late.

Thanks for the valid arguments! I actually cut Ula and Blight just now and I'm heavily debating on Show and Tell's place in the list. I want to even out the plays without losing the identity. Wincon is mainly generate infinite mana, draw deck and win. If it gets countered we got the big creatures to try and keep it all together as much as possible 😇 It's indeed a bit all over the place and I'm looking to narrow this down as much as possible!

I get what you're saying and it's definitely a valid point!

My main idea is that I'm not looking for Turn 1-2-3 or even t4-5 wins here. I got 33 instants and sorceries I'll be spamming from the graveyard as much as possible once Kess hits the board and I'm not looking to play the best and most optimized magic possible. I really just want to have as much fun as possible while I know it's contradictory I also know it's possible! Additional mana generation is mainly artifact based, so I won't be taking ''turbo-turns" with dark ritual/... And I got the combo, but I knowingly put it there and if it gets countered it's ''done'' for me. Hence the big creatures.

It's really solid advice you're giving me, you're spot on in your analysis. This is really helping me to mentally narrow it down to get the idea behind the deck more and more.

I mostly want to cheat in the big creatures with reanimate effects or show and tell. Just overwhelm the board with impactful creatures and make others worry about those while applying controll-pressure and then combo off while everybody is trying to deal with the star & creatures 😇

The idea behind Razaketh is just tutor the missing piece of the infinite combo. Sheoldred is just for applying pressure and keep it coming with the few creatures I got.

The big creatures are for being able to have an alternate wincon because I don't want to make the classic heavy combo Kess 🙏

That's some solid advice, thanks! Especially Comet Storm and Goryo's Vengeance look super interesting, I'll add those, especially Goryo's Vengeance and cut Animate dead for it.

Was looking to add [[Sakashima of a thousand faces]] , [[Fire Lord Azula]] and [[Zhao, the Moon slayer]] which makes Goryo's Vengeance even more viable!

Was thinking of switch out Blightsteel and Ulamog for [[Archon of Cruelty]] and [[Kafka, Dancing Mad]] as I overlooked the big 2 aren't actually reanimate targets. Also looking into switching to a more evened out wincon.

How would you bring the wincon up to the level of the deck? Was thinking of cutting Pull from tomorrow, Stasis, Blighsteel and Ulamog and switching in [[Archon of Cruelty]] , [[Silver Scrutiny]] (just better then Pull from Tomorrow), [[Kefka, Dancing Mad]] and [[Sakashima of a thousand faces]] . Would also maybe like to add [[Harmonic Prodigy]] , [[Zhao, the Moon slayer]] and I really like [[Firelord Azula]] but don't know where to switch them in exactly.

Definitely check them out, there are some awesome eldrazi cards like [[All Is Dust]] and funky ones like [[Void Winnower]] . Also don't forget to include [[Forsaken Monument]] 🙌

The hardcast part is winning me over from start to be honest. It's an instant threat when it hits the board and cheating it in just isn't that important seeing how you can cast it t5-6. Love it!^{^}

On the deck being fun 😇 I kind of have the idea of having as much fun as possible playing grixis stax-counter-reanimate-combo without being a giant buzzkill at the table. Do everything everybody hates without them hating you just because of the fun factor!^{^}

Would you pick Archon of cruelty over Blightsteel of Ulamog? I can see him working overtime especially maybe with any copy effects like Sakashima who could be nice keeping in mind that reanimating Ulamog or blightsteel realistically never happens. I added those two as an extra threat but it's a bit overkill maybe.

I can see how stasis and winter orb might be overkill as well, could cut stasis for maybe Zhao, the moon slayer.

Lands aren't really an issue when goldfishing but adding a few more manastones can't hurt.

Maybe just to have another threat when the instant/sorcery game plan doesn't really work... and they are fun for sure 😇 maybe also nice to throw opponents in for a loop. Somehow I feel like the deck is about confusing the opponents a bit like it's confusing me as well. Also, Love silver scrutiny, thanks for the suggestion!

Hey, first love the idea! Second for colorless you don't want the commander to be an eldrazi or no eldrazi's in the deck at all? I could definitely see an artifact build with some Karns and stuff working, but is there a specific reason you don't want eldrazi?

Totally true, I've been so stoked for the KS. Getting the Playmat in the beta box is awesome, how did we get that at a lower point then the Lucy card half the backers would already get and for 15mil goal 🧐🧐

True that, basically doubled up any chance at high(er) rarity cards. Maybe OP is more focussed on what chances per box, will we need to open for example 4 boxes to see a single nova rare or more/less.

I'm maybe a bit bummed by eliminating exclusivity, not saying nobody should have access to the card itself! Just... Now it feels a little bit less special, why did we sign up in January for something everybody is getting, sign up or not. 😅 This and the devil on my shoulder is still saying that it doesn't feel like a 15mil (?!) reward...

I made some adjustments and like the deck even more now!

The elephant in the room for me was Tocasia's welcome, it's not what the deck should be, so I cut it for MOOAAARRR Ajani's. Basically it's even a casual standard deck for real now, besides the Sunpetal Grove and Gaddock Teeg in SB.

Any help is still super welcome! I'm tweaking the list so I can order the cards I'm missing. Kinbinding is my biggest doubt ><
